Our recent trip to Paso Robles wineries had us staying at the Paso Oaks. This is a new hotel that is very clean with an incredible staff. Notable during our stay was time spent visiting in the bar area - they have many local vintages and Marina, from the front desk, was very knowledgeable. She was spot on with her descriptions of each wine as well as wineries to try during our visit. Everyone at the hotel was friendly and helpful. They wanted us to enjoy our time and get the most out of our visit - and, they were a lot of fun as well. They have a great chef who prepared some delicious dishes that we enjoyed while watching college football at the bar. Other guests were also happy with Paso Oaks and we enjoyed our time getting to know them.
The hotel is very new and quite spotless. It is in an industrial area, which is about a 2 or 3 minute drive from the town square. We were a bit concerned about the location, but it turned out to be just fine as it is very accessible and quiet. We will definitely return!

It was very pleasant staying at this hotel. We were here for two weeks showing horses over at the Event Center. This hotel is just right down the road from there. The parking is convenient, rooms always cleaned early and the whole hotel is clean. Morning breakfast is fantastic, especially on the weekends when the omelet station is open! A few nights we showed the horses late so it was really nice to come back to the hotel and have the restaurant to eat in. And a good restaurant at that, best Lamb ever!!! Already made my reservations for next year!!

The Oaks was the hotel accommodation choice for a wedding we attended in Paso Robles. It is a nice hotel djacent to the town and close to all wineries. We stayed for 2 nights - the room was fine, a little small but clean. The lobby is small with a little bar and no gift shop. Breakfast buffet included in the room price - made-to-order omelets, eggs, sausage, bacon, toasts, fruit, etc. All was good and included juice, coffee too!

Rate of $149 for wedding was fine for this hotel - but friends who reserved late and missed the wedding rate payed $250 - which it was definitely not worth!

Room Tip: Room near elevator very noisy, room near spa very noisy

Thank you for you very through review of your stay. I am glad you enjoyed your stay and enjoyed the amenities in the hotel. As well, it is good to hear you found our location convenient and close to the wineries and just a short drive to downtown Paso Robles. I am sorry your friends did not reserve his room within the guaranteed period to qualify for your group special rate. We keep our rates competitive and always encourage our guests to book as early as they can, especially when qualifying for a group rate. The hotels in Paso Robles normally get fully booked on weekends, especially if there is an event going on. Paso Robles is also a very popular wedding destination on weekends.

We stayed for 4 nights for the Harvest Wine festival. Lovely, clean, spacious rooms, free parking and wi-fi were a nice bonus. The breakfast included was much nicer than the norm, and was plentiful each day except the first, most likely due to busy festival crowds. We had a delicious dinner in the restaurant, tasty salad and crab cakes. The wine tasting was fun to warm us up for the festival. There was a noisy wedding crowd in the hallway, but the staff did their best to keep the rowdiness down. The hot tub was nice for the cool evenings. When I had concerns with the billing, the manager(?) was attentive, kind and explained everything very well, and of course it all worked out. We plan to return to the Festival again, and will most definitely stay here again when we do!

The Harvest Wine Festival is one of the many annual events we look forward to in Paso Robles. It gives us an opportunity to celebrate and enjoy some of the wonderful locally grown products and wine that come from the surrounding area. You are right about one of those morning breakfasts, we were falling behind in replenishing the food trays. Our kitchen crew was able to eventually catch up and they continued to serve food until the last guest left the restaurant. We are looking forward to seeing you again on your next visit.

Very clean, helpful desk staff, great comfy beds and comforters. Rooms are huge, lots of towels and a great breakfast! Close to town and wineries! Staff was very friendly for a large out of town wedding party. Would definitely recommend to others. Very new, lots of parking, and a nice small pool. Pet friendly too!
