This was my first stay @ Wild Coyote and I could not be more satisfied! Spacious, lovely rooms in a peaceful atmosphere among the vines makes Wild Coyote a true treasure. Dining out on the patio near the fire pit then soaking in the jacuzzi under the stars was truly memorable. A delicious, homemade breakfast was delivered to our door and we enjoyed it on our patio as we watched the hummingbirds chase each other around the trees. I will definitely be back.....soon.

Room Tip: There isn't a bad room...only 2 have King beds though.

With our friends (2 couples) we decided to add to our adventure in the Paso wineries and restaurants by staying at the Wild Coyote Estates B&B. We had visited the winery before, bought their wine, and enjoyed their tasting room, but never stayed overnight. Our friends had never been to Paso, so it was on our backs to make the right selection for them. They were used to high end hotels, with excellent service and amenities. Boy did we hit a home run! They could not get over the unique rooms, the panoramic views, the service, and especially the hospitality. If you want to experience "beige" tainted by stuffiness, you won't like the Coyote. If you want the excitement, color, unique surroundings with a comfortable aura, you are going to be at home with the Coyote. The friends can't wait to come back.

We are always looking for quaint out of the way places to stay. This one was a home run!! From the moment we arrived, we felt so at ease. The casita comes with a complimentary bottle of the property's wine. Outstanding views of the property. Property was perfect for a "getaway from the madness" vacation. Quiet, comfortable, and without a doubt a great place to rejuvenate the body. Breakfast was provided each morning by the owner's wife. This wasn't some sort of "buffet" breakfast. This was the type of breakfast you get at a high end hotel. I even tried eggs benedict for the first time and found to to be very good. We will highly recommend this place to anyone looking for an out of the way, serene home away from home!

Room Tip: Only five casitas--all are great!

I am very glad we decided to put this on our route. Lovely B & B. Excellent friendly service, great room and so quiet you could have heard a coyote howl if there was one around! Artistically decorated rooms with Mexican overtones and items collected by the owners during their travels, extremely comfortable bed and very good facilities, including a fireplace, fridge, coffee making machine, microwave etc etc. There was a large balcony which was a lovely spot to sit and relax as the sun went down. There was even a complimentary bottle of wine to settle us in! Very good nights sleep and we slept like logs. Good breakfast delivered to your room or served outside. Very good wine but remember it is all red wine. A plus point - the wifi was free (note that large hotels!) Away from the town so it is very quiet and peaceful but close to the town for dinner and close to the main routes through California. There is a hot tub but we did not try it. I imagine it would have been fun sitting in the tub looking at the stars with a glass of wine in hand, but hey ho........ Lovely views across the vineyards. All in all a very restful and happy stay - we were sorry to leave - and will definitely recommend our friends to make a detour and stay here when in southern California.

We met two other couples for a wine country get away. One of the couples had been to Pasa Robles before and saw this B&B so they decided this trip to stay there and made reservations for all of us. What a great choice, the service makes you feel like you are staying at the owners house and the breakfast was always a wonderful surprise each morning. My wife forgot a shirt and after speaking with Katie one of the owners she personally overnighted the shirt to us. We look forward to visiting Pasa Robles again and staying at The Wild Coyote.

Room Tip: The only issue we had was that the rooms were dark, they need more lighting in the room, especially...

My husband brought me here to celebrate my birthday and to help us relax and recharge and we loved it so much we booked again for 2014 and invited family and friends to join us. The personal service is kind, caring and genuine. You feel like you're a VIP in someone's home. The wine was so good that we didn't even want to leave to try any other wineries. The Tempurpedic bed ensures a great sleep and the breakfast in the morning is simply delicious. The views at sunrise and sunset will leave you breathless. My favorite part was the barrel tasting session and watching the Manuccis interact with their kids in such a loving heart warming manner during the grape harvesting.

Have to admit, right off the bat, that I'm not a big fan of southwestern decor, but Wild Coyote has me smitten! This wonderfully unique place is perfect to re-charge your batteries - close enough to town/Hwy 101 and their amenities, but far (and high) enough to feel like you've got the whole wine country to yourself.

Friends brought us to Wild Coyote for the first time this spring to taste wine. We had to drive through construction to reach the temporary Tasting Room in the back barrel barn - they were working on the new kitchen and tasting room at the time. The wine was great (we joined the Port Wine Club), but the location and scenery stole the show.

My husband turned the double nickel (55) over Labor Day Weekend - and as a last minute treat - we decided to spend a couple of nights at one of WC's five private casitas. We checked in late Tuesday with Paul in the new tasting room and gift shop. It was like arriving at a long lost friend's! I booked one of the two available King rooms - the Pueblo. You walk to the casitas via a community patio (that they light up at night). We were shown our room and Paul gave a quick run-down of the amenities including how to turn on the A/C or, if it got too cool at night, the fireplace!

The room was lovely! The decor is hardly your motel/hotel chain variety. They state (in a nicely thorough one page paper they give you regarding your stay) that the items have been lovingly collected along the owners', Gianni and Kati's, travels.

We quickly settled in, but not before noticing the nice touches: mini-fridge, microwave, coffee machine, bottled water (for bringing along for wine tasting), water jug for making coffee (they are on a well and the water, while safe, tastes funny), complimentary bottle of WC Zinfandel (with 2 glasses and opener), fluffy towels (including beach towels for the hot-tub), private front deck (with 2 adirondacks and a table). This was such a well-appointed room!

Most wineries close by about 5pm, so since it was 4:15 - we decided to stay at Wild Coyote and taste their juice. Paul was knowledgable, passionate and engaging. We learned even more about their wine, but also, where to go for dinner. Based on his recommendation - we enjoyed at lovely meal that night at local Italian restaurant, Buona Tavola.

We spent the rest of our evening enjoying our Zin on the patio - watching the stars and enjoying the solitude - yum! We would have slept with the doors wide open for the fresh air, but the crickets were enjoying the lovely September evening as well... quite... vociferously! Thankfully the sliders in the room cut out the outside sounds very thoroughly!

The next morning we watched the sun rise above the hills. We enjoyed a lazy wake-up. Internet service was pretty spotty - so reading an online paper was out. We made due... Then right about 8:45 we got the promised knock on the door and Kati whirled in with the most amazing breakfast! There is a table in the room, but also, tv trays and, of course front deck or community patio - so many dining venue options! The food was really yummy and a perfect start to a perfect day.

We will definitely be back - with friends that we know will love this place as much as we do. FYI - wine club members get a 20% discount on rooms!

Room Tip: There are only two of the five rooms with a King sized bed - be sure to specify if you want this. T...
