The rooms are amazing- large with two flate screen tv's. The restaurant food was terrific- very creative. Can't wait to stay again.

The Bellasera website should clearly state that the hotel is located right on top of the freeway, sharing a parking lot with a Hampton Inn and adjacent to a shopping center. We were horrified with the location and would not have stayed if we'd known in advance we'd be right on the 101. Sulky near-teenage girls working the front desk were inept and unfriendly. Our electronic keys did not work and the front desk girls didn't apologize for this inconvenience; they were too busy explaining to each other how to use the keying machine. Our room was a nice big suite, so my mom was able to sleep on the bed and I got the sofa bed. Her bed was fine, with high-quality bedding, but bedding for the sofabed was that standard polyester foam blanket crap that you'd get at a cheap motel, and the sofabed itself was a torture device. Food at restaurant was okay, if a bit too ambitious, but seriously oversalted and the service was rushed. My mother was in the process of finishing her entree when the waiter came swooping by to snatch up her plate! Good points: the towels and wine glasses are nice and the morning reception employees were much more...adult...and helped me find my missing cell phone.

La Bellaserra was open for only three weeks when we stayed there. The room was really nice with a good decor and quality furnishings. Bed was super comfortable. Two flat screen TVs in the king suite. Super soft towels and nice size good-looking bathroom. The room was very comfortable and spacious. IT is equipped with a computer for internet access in case you don't bring your laptop - nice touch. You may have to request extra toiletries as they didnt' replenish them much but the room was cleaned very well otherwise. The restaurant was small and cozy and the food was great - the halibut and kansas city chop were excellent. And the have a nice selection of wines, of course. The bar is inviting and and had just the right amount of patrons on the night we visited. Paulie, the bartender, sets the mood and is friendly and chatty and likes to introduce people to each other. The gym was small with only one elliptical trainer but sufficient for a weekend. Overall, we had a great experience at this hotel for a two night stay. The location is very convenient for wine tasting.
