Marriott Courtyard is a beautiful hotlel. The staff is very friendly and courteous. If you include your breakfast, you get a breakfast voucher. Their breakfast burrito is yummy...........I would definitely recommend this over Holiday Inn Express.

I've stayed at a few other hotels in Paso and the Marriott is definitely the best by far! The entire staff was so helpful & friendly and the hotel was gorgeous!! Bar has a great local wine list too! I will be back to this hotel for sure!

We were here for a wedding and even with the wedding discount it was expensive at $250 a night.

My boyfriend didn't like that the rooms were small. The room set up is a bit weird with the king bed facing the window. His side of the bed stuck out from the wall and I had very little room to get out of bed. Also the closet is a very small cabinet. We had suits and dresses for the wedding to hang and didn't have enough room.

I liked that it was clean. The bathroom was big and I enjoyed the flat screen TV.

The price was too expensive though for what we got.

Dear friends of ours from out of state came to stay with us for about a week. While visiting us in Monterey, CA, we decided to make a trip down to Paso Robles for wine tasting and come back up the coast the following day.

I did a little research and The Courtyard seemed the best choice for our overnight stay. Our friend has "points" with Marriott, sinching the deal. She made reservations online in her name for 2 kingsized rooms more than a day in advance.

We arrived at check in about 3:10 pm on a Tuesday 9/16/08. We were told that while there were kingsized rooms available, none were ready at that time and that it would take approximately an hour. We were given the option of 2 rooms with two queensized beds now, or we could wait.

By then we had already done a bit of wine tasting but wanted to get in a couple more stops since we were leaving early the next morning. Even though my husband and I like having a king bed when we travel (we don't have the space in our bedroom but we are both large people) we opted for the queens and dropped our stuff off. We were on the first floor and the other couple on the second.

We ate dinner at THE CROOKED KILT. If you don't mind eating pub food it is an excellent choice! Bring your appetite. And your Altoids!!! Portions are extremely generous and loaded with garlic. Prices are reasonable. Tuesday is $3 draft night with good beers on tap. We left well sated and happy.

We also chose not to eat breakfast at the hotel. Looked awful!!! If you are just looking for a morning munchie and a good cup of coffee, walk down to the end of the parking lot to THE HOUSE OF BAGELS--next to Kokku's Sushi. You won't be dissapointed. Excellent muffins too! They can't advertize at The Courtyard because the hotel sells breakfast, however, I'm quite sure that alot of their clientelle come from there.

Speaking of coffee, the room coffee consists of a little coffee maker and a filter package that is typical in hotel rooms. I MUST have something warm first thing in the morning so we attempted to make a pot. The maker was broken or something. It leaked all over the place. The fawcet in the bathroom also leaked. The hallway was a bit noisy occasionally as people walked past, however, it was otherwise very quiet.

The BEDS WERE VERY COMFORTABLE. We chose to sleep by the window. The bed was luxurious and soft. You practically melted into the memory foam. We didn't check out the other bed.

Our friends also slept by the window but their bed was extremely firm, which is what they prefer. I suspect that the rooms with two queen beds have one firm and one foam.

Overall, while there were some problems, issues were relatively minor as lodgings go. The place was quiet and the beds comfortable. I had a good nights sleep and the rates are very reasonable. I will definately be back.

We stayed here for 2 nights during a 12 night trip to California & Nevada. We were staying on Marriott points and found the hotel to be clean and nicely appointed. The pool & spa area were nice and almost empty when we were there. They even have free use of the washer &dryer plus free detergent. The best for us was when my husband realized two days after we checked out ( and we were in yosemite) that he had left a pair of pants, belt & shirt in the closet. We called the hotel and they sent the clothes via fedex to our home at no cost to us. The package was waiting for us when we arrived home. That's why we love Marriott!

We stayed at the Courtyard in Paso Robles for 1 night (a Sat.) while passing through, on the way back to Los Angeles. It is right off the 101 freeway. We arrived at night and the parking lot was well lit and felt safe.

No problems with the reservation. Lobby was nice and spacious with a computer for checking email. Free wireless internet in rooms (they give you a password at check-in). Outdoor pool & hot tub, workout room.

The guest room was large and clean. Large, flat screen TV with direct tv. Soft linens and lots of pillows. Plenty of storage space & mini fridge in room. Large bathroom with a nice shower (good pressure, lasting hot water, etc. Towels could have been softer, but at least they gave you extra. AC controlled by a wall thermostat, but the unit itself was loud when it came on at night. Could hear a little noise in the hall, but generally very quiet.

We've been in the area before and the hotel is close to vineyards, etc. It's a relatively short, pretty drive to costal Cambria as well. We did not try the breakfast - there is a bagel shop at the end of the parking lot that was pretty good (and inexpensive).

Overall, a good place to stay when passing through. There are places with more character off the beaten path, but for a mainstream hotel, centrally located, this was just fine.
