We stayed a night at the Adelaide inn, based on reviews, and were very happy with the room. Rainy weather forced us to stay in most of the night, and we could not have been more comfortable. I concurwith all the other good reviews

I would give this property 6 stars if it were possible.

This was our first stay here. Starting with check-in the experience was positive: friendly, sincere, caring service you expect from a boutique property. I asked for a quiet room if possible and was told "they are all quiet". I thought "aha, sure they are" but they layout of the hotel does afford this which is something I noticed when I scoped the place out from the back of the property on a previous visit to Paso.

The rooms are tastefully decorated and well appointed: lighted vanity mirror and vanity seat, a sink in the toilet room and outside of it, a fridge with separate freezer that actually freezes, microwave, books, nice toiletries, etc. And it is quiet- only the noisiest vehicles can be heard inside the room (stayed in 204).

The grounds are wonderful for family travel. There is a very nice grassy area with BBQs and seating, a koi pond with waterwheel, pool and jacuzzi, and small put put golf area. The staff suggested we get take-out from across the street (with beer or wine if desired) and enjoy dinner poolside with the family which was a great suggestion.

There is no breakfast- just scones and muffins but they give a $5 coupon to Margie's Diner, like the BW does. The rustic pizza place next door gives a discount if. You show your key.

This was a fantastic property for the price- about 2/3 of the rat at Holiday Inn Express. Will stay here exclusively.

We stay at the Adelaide Inn in Paso frequently. It's not a fancy hotel with room service but everything is done really well. The room we usually get has two comfy chairs in addition to the bed. The bathroom is spacious with 2 sinks plus another sink in the shower\toilet room, and also includes a vanity with a lighted make-up mirror. The towels are thick and fluffy and to top it all off the bed pillows are heavenly.
The rooms are nice and quiet and the Inn is conveniently located. Its a 5 in its own category, but since I'm rating it against other places in Paso which have restaurants and other amenities I'm giving it a 4

Room Tip: We've never had a bad room.

The room layout was great - three women shared the room, and there was plenty of space in the bathroom and dressing area. Everything was clean, the staff was super, the onsite cat (one of those felines who obviously owns the place) was fun, there were flowers everywhere, parking was easy, and Starbucks is next door. This is one of the best places we've ever stayed.

Room Tip: If you have a larger truck, let them know, and try to get a room in the front section.

This hotel was a pleasant surprise. The room was large, comfortable, and clean. The pool was heated, and the Jacuzzi was wonderful. The room has a refrigerator, freezer, and microwave. The staff was helpful when it came to recommending restaurants, and they had free tasting certificates to dozens of area wineries.

There is a Starbucks across the street, but other than that you will need to drive about a mile to downtown to eat. There are places in walking distance, but I’d pass if I were you. That said, there are do’s and don’t when eating down town as well. In short, eat at Villa Creek. The wine is over-priced, but the food was fresh and delicious. Skip Artisan, it’s over hyped. The food was pre-cooked to the level they could even make a potato taste bad.

Wineries…on the east side, don’t miss Eberle. Very good Zen, very good Cab. On the west side, the best side, we stumbled on to a couple fun estate wineries—look for Carmandy McKnight. Its out of the way, has an interesting story, and every wine we tasted was good. They also have estate olive oil and red wine vinegar—all of which are worth buying.

Have fun!

Room Tip: Ask the staff for winery suggestions and they can hook you up with several free tastings.

This place has the best staff of any hotel we have stayed at. They are very helpful and very informative. Great suggestions on which wineries to try and places to eat. And always fast to greet you when you walk in.We would stop in every morning to grab the paper before heading out to breakfast and chat with who ever was on. Everyone we met there, including the cleaning staff are all very genualy friendly and helpful. The rooms are very clean and spacious. And the whole place is just a fun adventure to see all the different eclectic things the owner has decorated the outside with. It is located in the center of the wine country so it's easy to go in any direction to golf, go wine tasting or antiquing. And very reasonably priced. This is now our go to place when we travel to Paso Robles.
