I checked in this afternoon for an anticipated 8 night stay. My Company booked this hotel through our Travel Agency. Upon walking in to the Office to Check in, the air was filled with a pungent aroma of Curry or some other Indian Cuisine. Looking around the Lobby, the "Breakfast Area" was simply a small Counter that held two Dispensers filled with dry Cereal (stale??), and a couple of old Coffee Pots.. After the paperwork formalities, I proceeded to Rm 118, on the ground floor, in the middle of the "U" shaped Building.

Entering the room was a disappointment at best. The smell of cold damp air and stale carpet and linens totally assaulted my olfactory senses. Next, having flown and driven for the past 3 hours, I went into the bathroom. A look around in there revealed the presence of Black Mold around the window (which was screened and opened to allow air in). Rudimentary locking latches were built into the window, however if someone wanted in, it would be extremely easy to pry, break the latches, and gain entry into the room. This window opened to a very secluded area below a Ball Field, and the area would provide excellent cover and concealment to someone wanting to enter the room illegally.

Moving on with my room assessment, peeking into the Shower revealed damaged Caulking and black mold on the Ceiling, and in the Corners. The Fixtures were not caulked and the Decorative Plate covering the holes for the Hot and Cold Water Handles were loose, allowing water to enter the inside wall.

As another reviewer stated, the rooms small Fridge and an even smaller Microwave was stuffed into the closet, and wasn't plugged in.. it will remain that way. In the min area of the Room, the two beds were neatly made, and fortunately, the linens were clean (no evidence of prior use as another reviewer experienced). Of the four Light Fixtures in the main area, two Light Bulbs were burned out. As well, one of the Electrical Outlets didn't even have a cover (a definite shock hazard for small children).

Thankfully, I'm only TDY in this area for a week, and then it's back home to Arizona! For $120.00+ per night, this place is an absolute dump, and a serious health hazard! Unfortunately, with a small convention in town, this was the only place available.

Room Tip: Find another Hotel. Drive VERY fast past this place!

I had read the reviews and was hoping the management would have responded to the issues pointed out on so many other reviews. Stains on the carpet, stains on the furniture. I was scared to use the fridge. Long black hairs in the towels. I was extremely disappointed. I don't care the place wasn't that new, I wasn't there for an extended amount of time. I definitely made the wrong choice to stay here.

Room Tip: Don't choose one at this place.

The facility was nice. The room a good size. The kitchenette was in the bathroom. The bedding had some spots but just folded and moved to the side. I didn't get to look but saw a sign for dog run. Will check that out next time i bring the puppy. I would stay here again.

Staff/owners rude at check in-as if we were inconveniencing them to check in. Shabby room, smelled of urine, broken lamps, missing drawers in "dresser," stained bathroom with broken light and FREEZING. No weather stripping on the door so cold air blowing in, thin blankets and a heater that kept shutting off.

We arrived late at night with school group otherwise, I would have never unpacked. It wasn't cheap either - $100 to stay here!
