“Best Horse in a One Horse Town”
Reviewed 27 May 2011

Came here to celebrate our son's birthday. It was sort of mid-way between LA and SF. The real purpose was to go wine tasting and to see Hearst Castle. The hotel is right in the center of Paso Robles with ample parking and an on-site restaurant. The rooms are in small buildings around a park-like setting. There was a wedding reception that weekend so the grounds were nicely tended. The rooms are just average but they were clean and of adequate size. The location was great-within walking distance of downtown with shops and restaurants.

We have stayed here a few times but recently we were forced to cancel due to the cancellation of a local event. When I called the Paso Bobles Inn to cancel our reservation I was informed of their 72 hour cancellation policy and I was charged full price for 1 night's stay, over $200 for a room that I didn't use. The Inn's 72 hour cancellation is more time than I received for the cancellation of the event we were going to attend. Next time I will go back to the Holiday Inn Expess.

The room was ok, but not for the price you will have to pay. very central location - small buildings around a garden (check their website) . No breakfast included in the price. To expensive -would find somewhere else next time.

Room Tip: Be aware - no breakfast included in the price

My husband and I return to the Paso Robles Inn each year. It is very close to wineries we enjoy visiting. In addition, the inn is quiet, welcoming, and clean. The restaurant is wonderful as well.

This was a great place to stay and came highly recommended by a friend who has very particular taste. It was a great recommendation. It is centrally located so we walked across the street to the park (Farmers Market on Tues), wine shops, wine tasing, great little shops, and lots of restaurants. If you're not looking for bells and whistles and you want a nice, charming place to stay, Paso Robles Inn is the place to go. The best part was the price. Compared to the "chains", which were no where near Paso Robles as this one was, it was reasonably priced.

Room Tip: Opt for king bed not queen, spaciousness.

The Paso Inn was a beautiful hotel right in the middle of downtown Paso Robles, making sight seeing, entertainment and dining easy and in walking distance. The food at the Inn's Cafe was delicious and served gracious portions. I had a garden view room which was a normal room and my only complaint would be about the cobwebs on the windows obstructing the "garden view." I would stay at the Paso Inn again and recommend it to others

This is a very nice hotel in the perfect Downtown location. Within 2 blocks of great shops and restaurants. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The grounds are lovely and quite private. The room we stayed in had a spa on the patio which filled with the natural mineral spring, I don't think we would choose to do that again....but having the patio to have coffee was so wonderful. During our stay the weather was absolutely perfect!
We would most definitely stay here again!
