We are locals who enjoy Sunday brunch here at least monthly. Our favorite meal, we seldom find a better brunch and as frequent travelers that says lots about our own Paso Inn. After living close for thirty years, last night we stayed for the first time in a hot tub room. A bit dated, a bit expensive, it is still clean, lots of room and fun overall. We played downtown like tourists. We will do it again.

Room Tip: Upstairs probably better.

I first want to thank you for continuing to visit and dine in the Steakhouse. As a local of Paso Robles, I know you have many choices when it comes to dinning and I’m honored that we are your go to place for Sunday brunch. We take a lot of pride in maintaining the historic charm and character of the Inn. I’m glad to hear you now have had a chance to stay in one of the deluxe spa rooms. I’m sorry you found the rooms dated and expensive. We are currently in the process of a full in room remodel which we hope to have completed with a few months.

Thank you for taking the time to leave feedback and we look forward to having you as our guest again real soon.

We usually get to Paso Robles two or three times a year and have stayed at a variety of accommodations, from the cheapo Melody Inn to $200+ B&Bs. This time we were meeting friends who were in a recreational vehicle and we knew we wouldn't be spending enough time to warrant the big bucks for the B&B, so we decided to try the Inn. We knew it was ideally located and got a great price online.

We checked in and were surprised to discover that the great price was for a "spa room." We learned about the springs and it's benefits from the front desk staff and decided to try it. The room was very large with a King bed, fireplace, a table w/chairs sitting area, and a lovely balcony that contained not only the spa, but also a patio table and chairs that enabled us to sit and enjoy the lovely green areas with plants and trees. The chef plants vegetables and spices around the grounds as well which adds to the green and natural feel of the place. The bathroom was very large with a long vanity with double sinks, a tub and shower. We had an end unit, 1105, and we didn't hear a peep from other guests the three night we were there.

Be advised that the springs are "SULPHER,"......i.e., rotten eggs. Sulpher has long been associated with healing/health. As a matter of fact, wineries use sulpher to clean out the wine barrels because it kills bacteria and does not allow anything to grow in between the barrel slats so they can use them again. If you fill your spa, the water will smell.....that is what makes it "healing." They included several packets of bath oils that somewhat covered the smell, but it does stink. Even if you do not chose to use your spa, you will get a whiff of the sulpher smell from time to time. For me it was not a big issue. The sulpher baths are one reason why the Inn was designated as the spring training location for the Pittsburgh Pirates in the 40's.

The food was amazing and very reasonably priced. Split a breakfast because they give you so much food you cannot eat it all. Wednesday night is Prime Rib night and I have NEVER tasted better prime rib in my life. It melted in your mouth.

You can walk to everything, and the staff was the friendliest and most accommodating ever. We mentioned that one of our bathroom sinks had the Hot/Cold reversed (they have recently updated) and 3 minutes after we got back in our room the plumber appeared. We also mentioned that we would like a rubber bathmat as the tub was a bit slippery for showering. We had one within the hour.

Service with a smile, lovely people, great prices, fabulous location. It's our new "go to" place in Paso.

One criticism.....nice new flat panels with really lousy reception on the main channels. That seems a "no brainer" to fix.

We'll be back.....

Room Tip: I don't know if they had a fitness center....wasn't on my radar. Also a spa? Don't kno...

Was here for a girls weekend and we were SO pleased with the Paso Robles Inn. The rooms were clean & roomy. Next time we'll upgrade to a room with a natural hot spring fed tub! The restaurant on site was wonderful, it completely exceeded expectations. The Sunday brunch is not to be missed as well, an excellent selection and the service there was fantastic. Every employee of the Inn that we encountered was polite, professional and so very helpful. And location.... you can't beat it! So many cute shops, wineries and restaurants within walking distance. I highly recommend it and hope to be back myself sometime soon!

Room Tip: I'd get one with a natural hot tub for sure!!

A great hotel / motel in the heart of Paso Robles. The downtown (and pretty much most if what's worth seeing) is within walking distance from this hotel. Friendly staff and nice rooms with all you need. I stay here whenever I'm in the area, and never had a bad experience.

As stated in so many other reviews, this hotel is located in the heart of downtown Paso Robles. Across the street is the old park surrounded on all sides by quaint shops and a plethora of places to eat. The hotel itself is a showplace of old Paso Robles with the added value of wonderfully decorated rooms with all the modern amenities. This was one of the few hotels we have stayed in that had two sinks in the bathroom. While we did not eat in their restaurant we did find the bar to be a very comfortable place to finish the evening with a glass of wine. I am going to rate this hotel five stars for value (we got great off-season rates), very beautifully landscaped grounds, proximity to dining and shopping, and just the overall personal “feel” of staying at this lovely hotel.

Stopped here on our way to Ventura. Needed a dog friendly inn with first floor room for my 90 year old Mom.
This spot was great! Greeted warmly by the friendly staff. Lovely ground level room with a patio over looking the grounds. Immaculate grounds with pleasing pansies. Location is center town across from the town square. Strolled around the local shops. Went to dinner at the Inns restaurant-prime rib Wednesday and many locals arrived to enjoy the fine PR in PR inn!
Great meal with good service and attentive staff.
Would recommend this lovely spot!
