Marvalous hotel right on the ocean. Fireplaces in the room. What could be better. The crowd during Pro-Am was fun and lively. Views from the room of gold course and cliffs was fabulous and I really didn't want to leave.

We stayed here for guys golf trip and I was very impressed with location and service. I really enjoyed the rooms and the views are great. My favorite thing was probably having a drink while the bagpiper walked up in the late afternoon. The hotel had a great active vibe to it with which you could really see out at the fire pits watching the bagpiper. This hotel isn't cheap but it is a great experience and I am glad I stayed there.

Beautiful & expensive. Gym is a little cramped, but very nice. Plan to shower at the gym. They have everything but suntan lotion ( a disappointment to me). They open at 5:30AM, but they start letting you in at 5:00AM. Fridge with sodas included; we asked our person to only leave Diet Coke so there were 4 / day, which was nice. They give you 2 waters. They also daily give you decent sized shampoo, lotion, conditioner, & body wash. Fireplace is room.

The Inn at Spanish Bay has their act together. Everything is first class and top notch. Rooms are incredibly nice. Staff is friendly, energetic and eager to please.
View is spectacular. Food is very good. Everything thing you would want in a resort hotel...they have. They also have sticker shock when you check out. The rooms, food, & booze are incredibly expensive. When booking this place, just be prepared for a huge bill. Worth it? probably so.

Stayed for four days for an anniversary trip to play golf. We stayed on the top floor overlooking the golfcourse and ocean. Loved the window seat and the room in general was one of the nicest rooms that I have ever stayed, the nicest was Sea Island. We unfortunately were there during a major corporate event where we were all but 20 people not associated with the event staying at the resort. This was a trip I had waited a lifetime to take and there were parts of the hotel, such as the lobby that were closed for the private function. How do you close the lobby of the building that you are paying $800 a night to stay. We came back from dinner and wanted to enjoy a cocktail by the fireplace in the lobby or by the firepits and we were accosted by security asking us for our credentials. Very upsetting. Wish they would have told us at the time we booked our trip. Bill Clinton also ruined our round of golf by helicopters hovering over the course and his secret service detail on golf carts causing issues.

We could only stay for a night, but everything about staying at this hotel was near perfection. Located near the famous Pebble Beach golf course every part of this place was a photo op in the making. From the fireplace in our bedroom, to the famous scenic coastline and waves outside the windows, to the fires they light around the hotel patio at night so you can get warm and enjoy a glass of chilled wine around it, and even to the bagpipe that play at dusk, everything seemed to be thought of for a romantic or relaxing getaway. The hotel staff was also very friendly and helpful. My only objectionable comment would be the price - the price of a stay and of the food, but if you could afford it, this would be one place you'd want to come to.
