Eating at a Chinese restaurant can be a mixed experience. My first meal at Lily Kai was unimpressive, but this last time we dined, the food was wonderful. I had broccoli chicken and my husband had a lamb dish. We were amazed at the freshness of the vegetables, which were cooked just the right amount, crisp, not soggy, all of the flavors in tact. The sauces were wonderful, delicate and not bathed in salty soy sauce. It's a basic meal, but very enjoyable.
