Two buildings at the end of a road in an area regulated for new houses. It seems to be closed for good, and the houses were not special.
Our Group Family Reunion had Lunch at the Park, The View was Beautiful. The Kids had a Great time playing games and after Lunch all the Familys sat around telling stories until SunSet.
This is a group of buildings and a small farm that were the homestead of the founder of the city of Pismo Beach. It's totally out of the way near a new subdivision, and you have to deliberately search for it. Unless they are running a tour (find the website online), there is not much to do but walk down the driveway and look at the buildings and stuff. Cool, but not nearly cool enough. Perhaps you should donate something Allow 15 minutes, if it's closed, once you find it.
I would say if you are interested in history or love old homes, you should go. There was an ice cream social that I took my family, the little ones were bored. I love the pictures in the homes that show Pismo's past. You can't see much of the homes but what you can is see is pretty cool.
It's great to go and visit - if you can go when it's open. They've been working on this site for the past 15 years +, and since I was a kid I'd go out here to spend a little time. It's still not done and the historical homes are fenced off.
