Loved staying at this place this last weekend! It was pretty peaceful, gorgeous views, and whale watching from our patio to boot! Also the owner is a super sweet gentleman who went out of his way to get honey for my evening tea late Friday night! 100% recommended!

Thank you for taking the time to lets know about your stay. The Whales have been icing on the cake lately. We've had a pod in front of the hotel for about a week plus. See you soon!

This was one of our our chosen stopping off points on a road trip and we chose it primarily for the views and were not in any way disappointed. The staff were lovely when we checked in (and also when we asked about the most local place to purchase a bottle opener and they loaned us one!), the rooms were lovely and clean and the views were to die for. We watched sunset on our balconies and then, the following morning, watched whales out at sea whilst drinking our morning coffee.

Pismo Beach is a lovely place and we would not hesitate to stay here again - hopefully for longer next time.

Room Tip: All rooms face the Pacific, so whichever room you are allocated, you are going to get a stunning view.

A friend recommended Pismo Beach and specifically Kon Tiki Inn based upon their friends who have been coming here for decades. We thought we would check it out, because when in California for a driving vacation you need to experience a California motel. We were surprised by how much we enjoyed this Inn. It was reasonable as to cost, quiet, spacious, very comfortable beds, funky but fun as to furnishings (not surprisingly Polynesian) and lovely beach location. Breakfast is typical fare as at Travelodges and the like--lots of carbs! There are also hotels. More privacy and perhaps better views on flours above ground level.

Room Tip: More private above ground floor.

My husband and I stayed here for our 9th Wedding Anniversary and it was so wonderful! The view is breathtaking! It's such a nice getaway from home. Breakfast is fresh and has great choices. Climb up the stairs from the beach is still a workout but so worth it.

This hotel is wonderful. We stopped off here on our drive from Los Angeles to San Francisco for one night and wished we had stayed longer. The views from all rooms were amazing. We saw dolphins and whales. The staff were lovely and very friendly. Walking distance to many local restaurants. I left my wallet in the safe and they sent it back to the UK for me. A big thank you to you all. I would highly recommend staying here it was perfect.
