This establishment is understaffed. When you enter, the sign says "Please wait to be seated" Nothing new, except there is nobody to seat you. You either wait for a waitress or cashier or who appeared to be in charge of the place to seat you. Service is slow. If you order soup with main course, it will probably arrive together or just after main meal. Water, ice tea and other refills are needed to be asked for. This trip, I have ordered the "Trio" deal of chicken pie. I asked the waiter for original pie crust because on previous trip I was served the same pie with lid made out of pie crust - yes - lid. The waiter replied that he can not do it, but he'll talk to the manager. After while, I was told that the deal only comes with the lid on top. Their own advertisement photo shows original crust on top, furthermore, two weeks prior when I was there, the waitress had no problem serving the pie shown on photograph. I know, why do I go back there? Most of a time it is beyond my control.
P.S.
If you get seated in the "terrace" get ready for slight foul odor.

Other reviewers are correct the place looks dated, is shabby in some areas, the furniture needs replacing, and there is just an unkempt feel about it (e.g. the signage has some of its illuminated bulbs missing - always a sure sign that the standards are not as they should be).

So what could possibly attract you in. Well we are pudding/dessert junkies and the display of these they have will drag anyone with a similar passion in.

The food is surprisingly good and cheap. They do a special deal of a chicken pie with salad and a slice of a dessert pie for just under $10. We were worried that the quality/quantity would be a casualty of the price but this was not the case.

Service could do with improving. Our waiter was knowledgeable but let himself down in several areas: - we bought the most expensive bottle of wine on the list but were not given the opportunity to test it, as it was simply poured out; he came to our table to ask if we wanted anything else whilst carrying a handful of dirty dishes from another table; other waitresses were talking to him whilst he was trying to take our order.

This place has the potential to be very good, just probably needs a change of management who will take a bit of pride in what they are trying to achieve.

We walked out. This is the second time we have tried this restaurant. The hotel gave vouchers for continental breakfast because their area was closed for remodeling. The eggs looked like powdered eggs and the fruit was picked over and brown.

Every time we go to this restaurant we have terrible service. Not the same server, mind you, but each one is just as bad as the other. The restaurant looks old and dirty. Food is so-so. But with terrible service it just makes the experience not worth returning.
