“Scallops Unforgettable”
Reviewed 10 August 2013

Surf & Turf gourmet for lunch carnivores and ravenous romancers. Prime Rib BLT on sourdough, with a thick but smooth cut of avocado. Pistachio coated Scallops seared to perfection. Root Beer Cake (Yes, cake) with a side drink Float -- the chocolate layer cake dessert aficionados. Despite all the gluttony, this is a romantic setting with an ocean view. Attractive staff, fairly fast on their feet. But I want to get back to those Scallops, which even though they were an appetizer item I have not forgotten them a long time after.

“Great Road Chow”
Reviewed 30 July 2013

I recently visited friends from college, and it was decided that we would meet at the Lido Restaurant located at the upscale Dolphine Bay Resort & Spa. At first you're entranced by the view of the beautiful blue Pacific and surrounding landscaping, but then you settle in for a scrumptious meal. Starting off with refreshing cocktails after a day's travel, we enjoyed the generously-sized scallop plate and prawn cocktails to whet our appetite. Later we enjoyed mission fig salads with candied walnuts and a nice chardonnay. Finally, we were on to the perfectly prepared Alaskan Halibut and Wild Salmon entrees, washed down with a Chamisal Pinot Noir - absolutely delicious! Aside from the fantastic food and view, we were treated to the musical stylings of Jon Stephen; an absolutely wonderful classical/flamenco guitarist... I purchased a CD!

“Please stay away from Lido!!!!”
Reviewed 29 July 2013

Since my last time at Lido about year ago the quality of food and service changed badly! The worst restaurant experience in the very long time including both: quality of food and service.

“Wonderful lunch!”
Reviewed 19 July 2013

We had a wonderful lunch outside, overlooking the pacific. Our dog was able to join us (under the table), they even brought her a bowl of water. We started with delicious Morro Bay oysters, our serve was very helpful with recommendations for both food and wine, even brought us a taste of two of the wines so we could choose. We had the Prawn tacos and they were delicious! We will definitely go back!
