“Best Chinese restaurant in area!”
Reviewed 27 September 2013 via mobile

I've eaten at this restaurant many times, and it has now reopened after being closed for a couple of months. The menu remains the same, and the food is excellent on a consistent basis. This is particulary true when compared to other Chinese restaurants in the area. The lunch specials are tasty, generous and economically priced. The dinner menu will not let you down. Service and decor are excellent! My personal favorite dishes are Sesame Chicken and Hunan Beef. The house fried rice is outstanding. I highly recommend Grand China!

Spicy sauce dishes are too sweet.
Need more vegetables in the dishes.

“Very Tasty, Excellent Price”
Reviewed 29 June 2010

We went to Grand China because we were visiting a friend in the nearby Senior Residence. We had lunch plates for just $5.75 each. The plates included Won Ton Soup, Egg Roll, Cheese Wonton, Fried Rice, and entree of your choice. Three of us ordered different dishes. The Pork Chow Mein and the Sweet and Sour Chicken were wonderful. The Lemon Chicken was a little heavy handed on the sauce which overpowered the chicken.

The restaurant was busy at lunch, and I was impressed by the cleanliness.
We will definately go to Grand China again.

“Excellent Restauant and usually busy at lunch and dinner time”
Reviewed 24 March 2009

This restaurant is close to my home. I eat there often since its opening about two years ago.

The food is excellent consistent and some of the better Chinese style food available in this community. Their steamed rice is always fresh tasting and never dry/old tasting, like some other restaurants will serve. I have tried several dishes on the menu, but really come back to the General Chicken and the Sichuan Chicken, which are more spicy and flavorful. All of the sauces they use are prepared fresh in the kitchen throughout the day. They are each very distinctive.

The atmosphere is very bright, modern, and clean. The restrooms are very clean too. There is nothing ‘mediocre’ about this restaurant in my opinion. Moreover, the staff owners and workers are all very friendly and polite.

This restaurant draws a very large lunch crowd and also it is busy at dinner time on most days. Prices are comparable to most other Chinese restaurants in the community.
