Owner description: A public water park with slides, a picnic area, hiking, fishing, swimming and fun for the family.
Reviewed 18 March 2012

Nice place to spend with kids. It's fairly small, not over commercialized, and has everything you need to have fun - warm fresh water, shallow swimming area, rental boats, small beach. There are some water slides, but they are dated and usually there is a long line on a hot day, so this is not the best part.

This is very fun and you get a lot of excersize walking up those hills! The beach next to it is horrible though. Its really dirty.

A nice swimming area with summer life guards; snack bar; plenty of areas to go for walks or ride bikes.

My kids went to Shadowcliffs from the time they were babies till the end of middle school. The beach is nice, the water shallow enough for youngsters, the snack bar is cheap, and the waterslides are great for killing an hour or so. They are usually wiped out after schlepping up the stairs and waiting in line. Go to the earlier sessions and only buy a few hours, not a full day pass. There aren't enough slides to keep them entertained for a full day.
