Owner description: A public water park with slides, a picnic area, hiking, fishing, swimming and fun for the family.

This place is close to Pleasanton Downtown and has a nice beach and play area for kids. It can get crowded during summer weekends but is otherwise a good place to swim and get wet in the water and also to have family picnics.

I am sure there is a reason, but it is sad to see the water slides gone. Given the money spent on the upgrade of Stanley Blvd, this is hard to understand.

Although the water slide has been taken out, the lake is still very inviting for swimming, fishing, kayaking, etc. It is a clean and pretty facility that is only a few minutes drive for anyone living in the Pleasanton area. There is also a small area of water behind the swimming lake that is a beautiful area for fishing and walking but not swimming. We are fortunate enough to live close by and can walk along a creek to the Park. It is a beautiful walk.

They should not let people blare their boom boxes. This park could be enjoyed by all, but you can't hear yourself think with the cacophony of mariachi style music being blared.

This waterslide facility has been closed, the slides removed, and the area bulldozed. No new waterslide is planned for this location. The underlying ground had become unstable.
