Husband travels to Pleasanton for business few times a year and said it was a good place to stop. We had things to do in San Francisco and is only 45 minutes out.

Hotel was great for family with two kids ages 9,10 years old. It has a full kitchen with stove, oven, fridge, microwave, and dishwasher. If you want to cook this would be the hotel for you. We had a one room suite which was perfect for us. The room was very clean and the bed was wonderful. There is a huge walk-in closet. Kids loved the some what heated pool and spa.
Breakfast was toast, pasteries, cereal, fruit, plain scrambled eggs, scrambled eggs with green onion (good), french toast, one day had hash other day sausage links, coffee and juice. They were very good at keeping it stocked. It was a tad better than a standard continental breakfast.

Front office was very pleasant. They have a small store to buy candy bars ($1), chips, cookies, ice cream, soda and stuff like that. It does come in hand when you want something to snack on.
Overall this was a great place to stay and we will stay there again.

This hotel is not beautiful or in a great location but it delivers on the functionality you need when traveling with a group with varied needs.

We were a married couple with two young children (3 and 6) and the single sister of one of the couple. We were able to get a two bedroom, two bath suite that slept all of us. This was ideal for socializing after the kids were asleep, and for the single member of the group to stay up later than the rest of the party. The kids LOVED the pool and hot tub. Breakfast had long hours, from 6 to 10, accommodating everyone's wake-up schedule.

The workout room, with 2 treadmills, a bike and an elliptical, as well as a small circuit of weights was useful as well.

There were three TV's in the room- the one in the living room had a DVD player, then there was one in each bedroom. And the free wi-fi helped us find our way around.

Grocery and big chain restaurants were within a few blocks.

The down side was that when asked for outdoor running routes the front desk advised the neighborhood sidewalks were good. They were fine, but uninteresting- through an office park. That generic industrial park made the area need a car to explore. And the decor, etc in the hotel was very generic. It was clean, and aesthetics are not what we were looking for.

We'd recommend it to families and others who want the suite living.

I frequently visit San Ramon for one or two day business trips. The Courtyard Marriott at San Ramon is closest to my work place but frequently I prefer staying at the Hyatt Summerfield in Pleasanton. The suites are quite large, parking is never a problem (unlike at the Courtyard), and there is an adequate (if not a full fledged) breakfast included in the price of the room. This hotel is also very close to the intersection of the 580 and 680, making it convenient to many places. There are a number of dining options nearby. Only once have I had the need to contact the front desk because the thermostat in my room didn't work but they came immediately and fixed the problem. Overall, it is a no-hassle stay. Oh, and wired internet is included!

Reviewed several hotels within 15 mi radius, and this one was hard to beat on value for my target dollars of $75-90 per night. Internet rate of $89 for two room suite was very affordable. The fact that it was a Hyatt property was a bonus. Clean, quiet, and comfortable. Room had a King with a pullout couch in the front room. Kitchen was full service with a full size range, refrig, and microwave. Cabinets were stocked with plates and glasses. Rate includes full, hot bfst buffet. Located about a mile off the interstate, it was ultraquiet with a "no parties" agreement that must be signed during check-in. Definitely would stay here again.

My husband and I both remarked we would happily stay here again. The staff at the front desk was kind and helpful, the room outstandingly clean and comfortable, and the grounds very well maintained. Breakfast was fine--a little crowded, but the staff worked hard to keep hot food coming.
