“At least the beer was good!”
Reviewed 24 March 2014

Figured on a Sun. night wouldn't be busy, however, I echo other review of very poor service! We ordered drinks, then waited for waitress to return, finally ordered meals, then waited about another half hour for food! Had a 1-yr old that was very hungry & fussy. Fish & chips were crispy on outside, but batter not cooked on inside. Turkey pannini burnt a bit on bread, turkey too dry, needed more sauce. Food so-so. Don't bother unless you just want to drink.

“Average food large beer selection”
Reviewed 23 March 2014

Seven of came for Saint Patties day. We got there around 6:00 pm and didn’t have to wait, the restaurant was pretty empty. There is a wide selection of micro-brewed beers. I ordered Ceviche Tostaditas tacos which is fish “cooked” in lime. They were pretty good, but not citrusie enough. One friend got a chicken dish and said that it was very dry. The meatloaf portion was large and tasty. Service was pretty good. Food was acceptable but not great. The large dining area was good for a large group. Lots of craft beers to choose from.

“Lunch in Pleasanton”
Reviewed 25 September 2013

We dropped by for an early afternoon lunch. The fish & chips (sweet potatoe fries) were excellent. Lots of fried food and a sizeable selection of beer as mentioned by other reviewers. We really didn't examine the menu closely as our tight schedule necessitated quick service. All in all it worked out well. Service is pretty relaxed but as throughout many parts of the World if you let your waiter know you service expectation it will happen. We'd go back.

“Very poor service; large beer selection”
Reviewed 3 July 2013

Lots of beer to choose from, but service is so slow (there were only 4 customers in the restaurant including me) that it just isn't worth it if you are looking to have more than one drink.

I had the corn dogs and chips "starter." It is more than a snack in size but the chips were inedible -- burned to the point that they really should never have been served. The corn dogs (sausage in batter) were soggy. The flavor was pretty run of the mill.

The place is more a sports bar than a pub in feel, but even with the plethora of TVs it has little to recommend it.

Given the other choices on Main Street, this place is definitely not a top choice for a future visit.

“Look at the photo...”
Reviewed 11 June 2013

Lots of fried food. Food is middle of the road in general. Nothing remarkable. Needs something to set them apart whether that is food quality, content, or whatever. It just isn't there.
