We have eaten at this restaurant in the past for special occasions and the food has been good. We ate there this weekend for grandson's 16th birthday because he and his brother like theIir prime rib, which was very good. The other items we ordered were good, but nothing to write home about. Little pricey for what we received but okay for a special night.
Service on the other hand was less than stellar. It was slow and the waiter did not get one of the orders right and made no attempt to rectify the problem when he was told about it. We also had to wait a long time for him to come back and take our dessert order.
ALWAYS CHECK YOUR BILL BEFORE YOU GIVE THEM YOUR CHARGE CARD. One thing I almost didn't catch, was that since there were six of us, they automatically added the tip onto the bill. We were busy talking and I just gave the waiter my charge card and when he returned to have me sign the receipt he didn't bring the bill back with it. Had my son not told me they added the tip in, I would have tipped him twice. From now on I will be much more careful to look at the bill when there are more than four of us to make sure they don't automatically include a premium tip. I really don't appreciate an establishment adding what they think is the appropriate tip, that is my prerogative and should reflect the service I receive.
