“A great experience”
Reviewed 14 August 2014

We found out about B Bryan Preserve from friends that spend a lot of time in Sea Ranch. We (myself and two young daughters) made a reservation for a Sunday afternoon tour. Arriving a little early, we enjoyed walking around the grounds and meeting one of the resident cats, "Little". The tour was lots of fun, and informative. The wife was our guide (believe she leads most weekend tours); she is funny but also extremely knowledgeable. We saw two foal, many zebra's and antelope, and were able to feed the giraffes! This is a very special place, and certainly makes people aware of, while supporting, an incredibly important cause.

Reviewed 7 August 2014

What a great place. We came with our 3 kids (19,16,8) and thought it would be more fun for our little one but this was not the case. We all had a great time. Feeding the giraffes is really special and the place is run by this awesome couple who where just the best !
I highly recommend . Also the cause this supports is an important one.

“Amazing animals”
Reviewed 4 August 2014

The animals at this preserve were awesome especially the giraffes. The tour guide though, was not very informative and had a very slovenly appearance. He made rude comments to other passengers in the tour jeep as well and rather disgusting nasal noises. The jeep itself was also a bit cramped. The zebras were amazing up close and the giraffes lived in a climate controlled barn in the night. Watching them walk out to the their outdoor enclosure was really cool.
A bit overpriced for the experience, but we were told the money goes to care for the animals, so then it was definitely worth the visit. Keep in mind there is no restroom so you should stop in town before coming.

“A fun visit with hoofed animals”
Reviewed 1 August 2014

I visited B Bryan Preserve with a group of family and friends. We all enjoyed our semi up-close-and personal visit with the various hoofed animals. The proprietors were friendly and very knowledgeable about their giraffes, antelopes and zebras and were obviously very fond of their animal charges. We all appreciated the service these people provide in their commitment to working with endangered species. I definitely recommend a visit to this preserve when visiting the Mendocino/Point Arena area.

“Unique, heart-warming and unforgettable”
Reviewed 27 July 2014

We went to the Preserve with another couple to celebrate a birthday, and all of us truly enjoyed our two day stay, visiting the beautiful, exotic giraffes, zebras and antelope. It is impossible not to fall in love with these animals. To learn that they are endangered and nearly extinct made us appreciate all the more the work of owners Frank and Judy Mello to try to prevent their extinction. The grounds are beautiful, and the care given the animals is truly heart-warming. If you love animals and enjoy photographing them, and if you want to help in some way to preserve them, by all means come to the B. Bryan Preserve. It is a unique and unforgettable experience.
