“Good Food!”
Reviewed 9 January 2014

We enjoyed both dinner and an early breakfast at this restaurant; they serve some creative dishes plus the basics. It is pretty small, so you might have to wait, but the spot is at a nice crossroads just north of Point Arena and convenient to the Lighthouse if you happen to be staying there.

“Such a nice find!”
Reviewed 26 December 2013

We arrived to Point Arena early in the evening and after a long day on the road there was no way I was going to cook dinner even though our unit at the Point Arena Resort had a full kitchen. So we walked to the cafe and ordered dinner. Some reviewers call this place Quirkey? We just felt it was homey and reminded us of a cafe from the 50's and early 60's. I had the fresh Fish Taco dinner and was very pleased. Nice grilled fish, soft tacos street style, very flavorful and the plate was accompanied but a nice mixed green salad with fresh Strawberries. My husband had the Fish & Chips and was not disappointed. The Banana Cream Pie we shared for desert was home made and the best ever Great service and absolutely no complaints. This cafe is only open for dinner on Friday and Saturday evenings but is open daily until 2 P.M. for breakfast and lunch.

The food was always very good. The staff was friendly and helpful. We ate there many times because it was so convenient. So we were delighted that it was so good.

It is the best...The Wait Staff is great and the food is well prepared, with fresh vegatable and fruit. The bread is beyond Good. It is a great place to enjoy the morning.

“Good Food, but AVOID the kids menu”
Reviewed 23 October 2013

This café is located centrally near the lighthouse, so we stopped after our visit. The food was good. 2 of us had cheese burgers, and another had the apple burger. Our daughter ordered off the kids menu and for $9.50 she got a plate of 85% fries and 2 pieces of fried fish (about the size of 2 McDonald's chicken McNuggets). For $ 0.45 she could have gotten the adult portion which I hope would have come with more than 2 McNugget size pieces of fish. Extremely disappointing. Needless, to say, I had to give up part of my burger.
