Pt Reyes is a wonderful place to visit and this place fits right in with the area's arty culture. The home is in the trees and definitely unique. It is very well equipped. It has a great sunroom where we spent most of our time. One downside is that the only bathroom is on the main floor and the bedrooms are downstairs. The house description on TripAdvisor says there are 2 bathrooms, when in fact, there's just one. The location is great for exploring all the natural wonders of Pt Reyes.
The location is great for seeing Pt. Reyes and the area. The town center is minutes away and a restaurant and shop is down the hill if you care to walk. If you decide to stay in the house is well stocked for cooking elaborate meals and there is plenty of quiet nooks for reading and relaxing. The hot tub area is a delight and perfect for the end of long hiking days.
We spent 3 weeks in the Creekside Home in March and loved every minute. The house is comfortable for 2 -3 people and doable for 2 more using the convertible sofa. There are two decks to enjoy the outdoors, a sun room, good sized kitchen and large master bedroom. The house is tucked into the foot of the mountains, so the room views are at mid-tree level and there are many colorful plants in and out to enjoy. It is a short drive to the town, and to the many hikes and activities in the nearby Parks. We are looking forward to returning!
Exceeded our expectations. The home was beautiful with a great patio and decks throughout. Home was well stocked throughout kitchen, bedrooms, sightseeing guides, cozy, family friendly, truly enjoyed cooking beautiful meals in the kitchen. We look forward to returning this summer! Area was breathtaking, abundance of wild life and the road cycling was fabulous! This is a great area to ride a century, metric, and or any challenging and fun ride! Point Reyes is also a culinary favorite.. the Cowgirl Creamery and Wine shops are a must visit! The owner is also reachable and accommodating.
A quaint place that is very comfortable in great location. Close to pt. Reyes station and point reyes national seashore. And within about 600 yards walking, a small grocery/deli/coffee shop. So much hiking nearby. Check out tomales bay state park as well.
The house is warm and quaint. The sunroom is very nice to sit and enjoy the trees and sun and rain. The bedroom is very large with a comfy bed and fireplace. House has many big windows letting in alot of light. Kitchen has everything you need. An outdoor sitting area is nice also and you can have an outdoor fire.
There's only one large bedroom and a second bedroom with a twin bed. And a couch bed that pulls out in the living room so with two couples, one would be in the couch bed.
Check in very easy and we were not disappointed in anyway. Location is great for the point reyes area. Highly recommend. We will back as we love this area.
This well-designed and well-appointed property is secluded yet easy to find and is convenient to Point Reyes National Seashore. There are numerous thoughtful touches: the eclectic art on display suggests great taste (and much traveling) on the part of the owner; the kitchen provides virtually every gadget, cooking implement, spice, etc. that one could imagine; reference books and pamphlets abound that describe the area's history, geology, wildlife, hiking & biking opportunities, etc. The hot tub was a great enjoyment after our days spent hiking and birding. Walking distance to an excellent deli/grocery and quite close to the variety of restaurants in Pt. Reyes Station. The owner is very responsive and accommodating. We look forward to staying again. Highly recommended.
