Our second time staying with Mike and Valerie was as good as the first. Two years later, the property is in the same excellent condition and they were equally accommodating.

The location is perfect as you can walk to downtown but very quiet. Can't recommend any more strongly.

Thanks so much for taking the time to write such a thoughtful review. It is always fun to have families gathered together and enjoying themselves. Laughter and love, what could be better? Maybe basking in the limelight of our Walls Ice Cream super star? Cheers...

Living small never felt so delicious. At Ada's Place, small cottages are spacious and inviting. Lush gardens, porches and decks sooth your spirit. You'll be saying, "I could live here!"

A peaceful drive along two-lane scenic roads through Plumas County brings you to this rainbow's end. The cottages are darling. Four cottages - each with its own personality. Wonderfully appointed with all the comforts of a home I would own. Quiet and cozy. The gardens are stunning; a perfect recipe to relax and renew. There are books to read -- if you forgot your own. TV -- who cares. Free WiFi if you feel you must. Walk to dining and shopping in Quincy. Plus museums and other "downtown" attractions. it's an easy drive to all the beautiful outdoor spaces and places of Plumas County aka The Lost Sierra. This northeast corner of California is another of those "best kept secrets". Unless you're a golfer! Plumas County is well-known for it's world-class fairways and greens.

Each cottage has its own kitchen, too. Nearby, Quincy Natural Foods provides all the essentials but there are plenty of local dining options if you're escaping from cooking -- Moon's and Sweet Lorriane's in downtown Quincy are both high on my list. Plumas County -- is an outdoor recreation wonderland. Quincy and Ada's Place are ideal for exploring all the mountain scenery and small town charms of the region.

Room Tip: Four cottages are all delightful. Room for one or more. Full kitchen. Information binder with all th...

Oh my gosh what a fantastic review of our place and this beautiful place we live in. It was an absolute pleasure to meet you, hear about your traveling adventures throughout our state and inspiring me to see more of the many parts of California I have never seen. I wish you many more journeys filled with delight and hope that you come back and share with us again. It is so nice to have a new friend like you. Thank you again.

My husband and I stayed at Ada's Place while on business trips a few times.
Valerie and Mike are the most gracious hosts/hostess.
The cabin we stayed in was more than comfortable. They think of every need a guest would have and have it in the room.
Ada's place is walking distance to many of Quincy's best restaurants and attractions in town.
We look forward to staying with them again and highly recommend this place.

What a nice surprise to see a review from you! It was lots of fun to have some laughs with you and also spend time thinking about what might work best for your needs and those of your "family". I sure hope you found a place to live that doesn't make it too much of a commute in either direction and please stop by anytime you are close and we can laugh some more!

A BIG thank you to Mike & Valerie, the owners of Ada's Place for their unsurpassed hospitality! This was my second stay at Ada's Place, and the cottage I stayed in was immaculately clean, and fully equipped with everything anyone would want for either a short visit or extended stay. The cottages and grounds are beautifully maintained, and only a quick stroll to downtown, yet are tucked-away in a manner that really gives one a feeling of quiet and privacy. Mike is a very friendly and knowledgeable host, and it's obvious that he not only cares very much about the property, but also about each guest that comes through.

You were a great guest and it was a pleasure to have you come back again and enjoy all the hiking opportunities we have on this million acres of forest land! We sure do hope you come back in the spring and that your family comes back too. I would love to meet them and share a few moments of good cheer and some laughter. Thanks for the review and for being a fantastic guest.

My husband and I stayed for the second time at Ada's Place. We like the quiet, the fully equipped kitchen, the short walk to restaurants and the grocery store. Owners Mike and Valerie are very friendly and helpful. Ada's Place and Quincy have become a favorite place to visit. I look forward to our next visit.

This place, a whole cottage, is so lovely, so clean and so friendly we were happy from the moment we arrived. Quincy is out of the way and more than an hour from Lassen NP, but its worth the drive and we would go back anytime.

Room Tip: We stayed in the rose cottage, but all are wonderful.

Thank you so much for taking the time to leave us such a generous review! It is surely people like you both who make life as a small business owner worthwhile. Ruth's Garden cottage is where you stayed and named that because of the fantastic roses our friend Ruth has in her garden which is the view right out the kitchen window. We sure hope you come back again and there is lots to see if you are a nature lover at heart.
Cheers,
Valerie and Mike

Really liked Quincy and Ada's Place. Our cottage was comfortable, clean and well equipped. Owners Mike and Valerie are very welcoming. I enjoyed walking around the grounds in the evening and my granddaughter especially enjoyed borrowing their bike for an evening ride. Quincy's Food Co-Op was so great we decided to eat most of our meals at the cottage. Excellent WiFi and TV reception (my granddaughter appreciated that!).

Hello Leslie! Thank you so much for being so generous and leaving us a review. I certainly enjoyed meeting you and your granddaughter and it is always a pleasure to see generations of women in a family who love to spend time together! Next time I will go with you out to Greenhorn Creek Guest Ranch and we can all go riding and take pictures at the same time. Sure hope your drive home was easier and you had some time to enjoy the scenic beauty of this part of the Sierra. Sending good wishes your way.
Valerie
