About a year ago, this place decided to break from the Sizzler franchise and do their own thing. Despite providing a menu that is very similar to their Sizzler origins, this place is nothing like the restaurant of old. The service is OK, just don't expect anything special - after all, this is Ramona. The prices are astronomical for what you get. The salad bar isn't the biggest in the industry, so $9.99 is a little steep. The pricing on steaks is slightly below outback pricing, yet the quality of their meats pale in comparison to any other steakhouse. They recently had a 10 oz prime rib for 18.99 and it came out tough and fatty. I was completely let down.
Let's face it, there aren't many choices in Ramona, but spending your hard earned money at the Ramona Valley Grill just isn't worth it.
