Description: Where did the Lazy Dog Cafe name come from? One snowy afternoon, walking back into the lodge after a long morning on the slopes, Chris noticed a dog lying by the toasty fireplace. Commenting to his buddies on how much he loved his time hanging out there, he told them he wished everyone could enjoy life as much as that "lazy dog' by the fire. On their last run down the ski slopes in Jackson Hole, everyone has one thing on their mind: get these skis off and head to the lodge. Whether you're sitting by the fire or bellying up to the bar, the servers and bartenders know what you like and treat you like you're one of the family. The lodge has cold beer, hot chocolate, incredible food and great music, making it the place to be in town. Just like the lodge in Jackson Hole, the Lazy Dog offers the perfect environment for all ages, making the entire restaurant the place to be for a quick dinner with the family, a meandering meal with friends or a night out on the town!

What a wonderful place to eat and enjoy drinks. Very welcoming staff and the manager brought out complimentary baked flat bread with our appetizer and welcomed us for being new to the restaurant. I think it is not only a nice gesture but it was delivered in a genuine manner. We had five different dishes and they were all excellent, an overused word, but they were. From pizza to salads to pasta, well prepared and presented. Clean, friendly, and delicious. Well worth the price. I highly recommend if you are near the airport or staying at the Embassy Suites.

“Awesome Place - Even for a Chain”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 1 July 2014

This is a great discovery. We were more thirsty more than hungry and spotted The Lazy Dog. Stopping in was a pleasant surprise. The wait staff at the bar was super friendly and greeted/seated us right away. The Spinach Dip w/ Sundried Tomatoes is one of THE best appetizers I have EVER had. The other food on the menu is quite good. Large variety of spirits, wine and beer. There is a six pack sampler of all the beers they have on tap, so you can experiment and find something new that you like. Their Dark Lager on tap is perfect temperature to really enjoy it.

This was our first time to a Lazy Dog Café and I have to say, the food was very good. We liked the huge variety of different food options on the menu. They have a nice Happy Hour too. We will be back for sure.

Fun restaurant, love the dog theme. We put our dog picture on the website so we can see her on the dog wall. Good food, good service, fun with friends.
