I was first introduced to this place by my sister who loves sushi, I however didn't think I would. But, I was up for something new and gave it a try. I guess this place would be the best " starter" place if you are new to the whole sushi scene. We sat in the bar area where beers (bud light and Sapporo) are $2 bucks, and have a bar menu with different salads, soups and sushi rolls plus a different array of appetizers to chose from. All under $4 bucks. We have gone on a Friday night and also on a Saturday afternoon & these prices were the same. The food was good. I had the shrimp tempura, I wasn't ready for the rawness of tuna yet, but tried my sisters spicy tuna roll and found it to be really good. I was surprised. So, I got that the next time we went. The egg soup was also very good. The potions you get on this menu is also very filling. In one sushi roll you get 8 pieces. It's so cheap when we go we get different things and share. It's just a laid back place to hang with friends. Haven't tried the regular menu, may never, because the bar one just can't be beat!

“Delicious and lots of fun!”
Reviewed 17 May 2013

Oh this is so much fun! Each table has it's on 'grill' right in the middle of the table, and you get different meats and veggies to grill, there are also a number of sides, such as rice. They even have a dessert you can cook over and open flame - 'smores! All very tasty. This restaurant is busy so be sure to make reservations!

“Fun night out”
Reviewed 20 March 2013 via mobile

This place is great if you want a more interactive dinner. You cook the food yourself on a grill at your table. It's consistently good.

Just a tip- they often have all day happy hour and their menus are significantly reduced for the happy hour deals so go then and grill your food!
