“Hospital Visit”
Reviewed 13 February 2014

Had a visit to to Sequoia Hospital and chose this Hotel based on Location. Every part of our visit at this hotel was great. The staff goes out of their way to make sure things were great. Owner especially mindful and even gave us bottled water for our travel home. Parking was awesome location great disposable cups used in the room for coffee and water I like that it insures sanitary. Wifi good flat screen TV. Not a ultra fancy hotel but it was perfect in every other way. I would stay here again. Lovely town w great places to eat Trader joes and walgreens really close to hotel too:)

From the outside I would have never chosen this hotel. But after speaking with the very wonderful lady at the desk and looking at the room, we were pleasantly surprised at the cleanliness and comfort of this hotel. Close to Stanford Hospital where our mother was in ICU, we were able to go back and forth within 15 minutes. While it does have outside doors we never felt threatened in any way. My only complaint was that the ice machine was out in the rain but how often does it rain in California anyway!! The wonderful staff even made us a gift bag for our mom on the last day. The beds were so comfortable with nice clean comforters. The shower had great water pressure. There was a mini fridge and microwave as well. Double shampoo bottles and nice big towels. Coffee was hot and ready at all times. Breakfast was filling and as good as you will get in a buffet type hotel service. I will definitely stay here if we ever go back. If you are at the hospital let them know as there is a hospital rate.

Wanted to be close to Kaiser Hosp. Best Western looked like the best place. We live out in the country so the impact of traffic and that CalTrain was what hit me the most. Being that I had alot going on with my wifes operation it was hard to get used to the city noise. Other than that I enjoyed the staff and the room.

The owner and staff are doing a phenomenal job with what they have to work with. It's an older motel-like property with maybe 30 rooms - didn't actually count. So don't expect a Four Seasons experience. With that said, the property is appropriately updated, extremely well kept, and super clean. Rooms are large and the breakfast is fresh and free. The staff from the owner all the way through housekeeping are super helpful. And they all "get it". The reality is the peninsula is an extremely expensive place and there's a segment of the business travel population that simply needs clean, friendly, value. If you're a business person that needs to frequent Sand Hill Road or Palo Alto but can't justify $300-400 or more per night this is a legit alternative. I'll be back. And BTW Starbucks is next door.

Stayed in the area because of Stanford University Hospital..staff was excellent with our late check-in and more than willing to accommodate us if the need arose for us to stay over. Been making many trips the last month and probably many more. Will definitely stay at this hotel again. This was the quietest hotel and the beds were wonderful. We would have loved to be able to take part in the breakfast service and will look forward to our next visit.

Nice spacious room. Internet a little slow. Plenty of room to park and close to Sequoia Hospital in Redwood City. Hotel room has been remodeled recently, new flat panel TV. They use jet power commodes, stand before you flush ladies.
