My daughter and I always enjoy ourselves on this trail. It's always clean and most of the fellow walkers are friendly.

“Great Hike and Magnificent Views”
Reviewed 29 July 2013

Mt. Rubidoux has been an important symbol to all who live in Riverside since 1903 and people come from all over the world to hike to its summit. Today, you'll find people of all ages hiking the nicely paved trail with their dogs, with children in strollers, with friends and even alone. You can run, you can stroll or you can power walk. However you decide to trek to the summit, you will be rewarded once you get up there. Hike up to the cross, which was recently saved by proud Riversiders, and touch it...because you haven't hiked Mt. Rubidoux until you've touched the cross! And, because of the Easter Sunrise Service, which has been an important annual Riverside event since about 1906, there are plenty of places to sit and relax.

“great walk”
Reviewed 29 July 2013

this is one of the great walks/hikes in the Riverside area.. most people park on the down road and walk about 1/3 of the way up the down road.. when you get to the big corner the down rd and the up road meet ... then you can do the rest of the walk on the up road.. the up road has a better view ... 360 degrees of the whole basin... you can see Evens park... santa ana river bottom.. Flabob airport .... and downtown Riverside ... if you make it to the top there is a diagram of all the buildings you are looking at... 3 miles loop if done this way ... some incline but easy to do ... and iam chubby... hee hee

“Nice trail but hot”
Reviewed 14 July 2013

Due to some construction, we had to drive around, trying to follow road signs that were a bit unclear or lack of, to find the parking lot. But, when we found it, the trail was pretty nice and it was an easy hike. Towards the top, it offers a decent view of Riverside. Being in Riverside though, the sun could be a little intense.

“Beautiful view and very relaxing!”
Reviewed 1 July 2013

Me and my friends were in Riverside Downtown when we saw Mt. Rubidoux. We didn't really know if there was anything touristic over there, but we just felt like going up and it was a breathtaking experience (at least for those who are not from CA). I surely recommend it for everybody who's in Riverside looking for something different to do.
