My wife and I stopped in here a few days before our wedding in St. Helena. We are no wine experts but have been to a few of the wineries dotting the highway between Napa and Calistoga. On a nice day, sitting out on their little patio is a pleasant experience. The wine is good and I believe we even scored a discount using one of the wine apps on our phone.

In terms of interaction and information I thought it was a little lacking in comparison to some of the other wineries we went to. And as nice as the patio is, you can't help but feel a little cramped once you realize how little space is available (inside and out).

Update review--- Recent staff changes and some "meh" wine club selections, along with an increasing number of "just ok" wines has caused us to cancel our membership at E/S

There are still some things to like here: the patio, convenience to Rutherford Grill, the cool tasting room, extended tasting hours. And there remain a few standout wines, such as their cabs from Mt Veeder and Spring Mtn, along with their fantastic seasonal Rose of Pinot Noir, which always sells out quickly

And don't we all keep coming back mainly for great wine and a friendly staff?? E/S remains a decent spot, if not exceptional, and we hope to see Pamela, Todd, and Hector sometime soon where-ever they end up

We have been wine club members for a couple years now. We found this winery by accident. It is a small winery with some amazing wines. We had to stop by since we were in the neighborhood and ended up purchasing 4 bottles from their library. Some amazing wines, we are really looking forward to enjoying. Aly was our server and she did a great job, we will be back again and again! We love to sit out in the small garden and enjoy the weather, we picked a great day to be there, great weather, great wine. What else could you possibly want!

I loved that this winery was small and intimate. We had four tastings, all delicious. The server was very knowledgeable and didn't rush us. In fact, we had another appointment so had to rush her a bit.

Took my girlfriend for a tasting adventure and this was our final stop of the day.

I heard great things about their patio and wanted to enjoy it on a beautiful Napa Valley day. Their tasting room was full but their patio was empty so we thought we'd enjoy. Our hostess would come out and quickly fill our glasses but not much else. She offered us waters and bread sticks but forgot them until we reminded her.

My girlfriend did not enjoy the experience and the wines weren't anything I really thought were special.
