Description: Giuliano's is an independent family-run restaurant based in Crowland, near Peterborough. We have over 25 years experience producing freshly cooked Italian and Sicilian cuisine. Italian food is not just about cooking pasta. We have a wide variety of dishes on our menu and we are very passionate about what we do and the service we provide.

Went here after reading rave reviews, we were a little disappointed, it was packed and because of this it made conversation difficult, so noisy. We were brought bread with oil, the bread seemed bit stale, like day old French stick but ok. Main meal ok, pasta, pizza was just pizza nothing special, have tasted better, service bit slow, think they had forgotten us as when we called waitress over she apologised and said thought we had been served. Was looking forward to dessert however most had sold out! No I realise all freshly made and don't want to have lots left over but for a Saturday evening I did expect them to gave a few left. Probably wouldn't re visit as have been to better places nearer. Good price though, wine reasonable too.

My husband and I went in for lunch based on Trip advisor recommendation. We were a bit short of time but we told the waitress and she was lovely and helpful and we were served very quickly. Fresh bread with oil and vinegar served with our drinks, (nice touch)then the main course. Mine was a lovely chicken and penne in a tomato based sauce and my husband had penne carbonara. It was no trouble to do this for him instead of spaghetti, which was on the menu. Pity we were the only customers (doesn't help the atmosphere) and we were in a hurry , so no time to check out desserts or coffee but would love to go again. Good food, cooked to order and friendly service. So much nicer than chain Italian restaurants. Very reasonably priced as well.

The Peterborough area struggles for good food that isn't a chain or clone restaurant.

This was for my mums birthday meal and we relied on the Trip Advisor rating as our first choice was not available.

Legendary service, awesome authentic Italian cuisine and amazing value for money. In one swoop this is our favourite eating out choice locally. We feel we can take anyone visiting us here and know its going to be great!

Had a meal in this restaurant on a busy Saturday night, excellent food and very friendly staff delivering a great service. Impressive menu, with fish, pasta, pizza and meat dishes. Sicilian style cooking very much in evidence, lots of flavour and wonderful tomato sauce in the Lasagna. Afters also impressed - try the lime green mint choc chip cheesecake! The place is really out of the way in a small village, but well worth the trip out and make sure you book - Its only got about 30 seats and every one had a reserved sign on when we got there. Very reasonable prices - 4 of us had starter, main and afters for £50. Look forward to going back.

Another fabulous evening at Guiliano's - staff are always friendly and go out of their way to make your evening and your meal special. Gluten free pasta available and cooked beautifully - unlike several other restaurants I've eaten in I really feel that I can trust the staff here to get the gluten free thing right! The food is beautiful and nothing seems too much trouble. Can't fault it.
On a different note - why has the location of this fabulous restaurant been changed?? It has always been in Peterborough (and at number 1 - rightly so!) and for some reason has now been put in a category of it's own in Crowland. Yes - Guiliano's is in Crowland, but it's significantly nearer Peterborough than some of the so-called Peterborough restaurants.... what's going on TripAdvisor?! Genuinely think that people will miss out on a really great restaurant with fab food and brilliant service because it's been moved! A shame.......
