My husband and I spent four days of a ten day honeymoon at this wonderful inn. The staff is quite charming and the atmosphere is peaceful and relaxed. We stayed in two of the cottages and both were amazing. We spent the days exploring the valley and ate on the private patio overlooking the rows of grape vines in the evening. Wish we stayed longer, but I will definatley be booking there again for an anniversary. Thanks so much Deniese for our upgrade to the cottages. We really appreciated all you did for us!

Room Tip: Ask if there are any available upgrades when you arrive. They are very accomodating!

The rooms are comfortable and have beautiful views of a vineyard. We love the friendly, helpful, laid back staff. Transportation is available after a night of dinner and wine. The breakfast is outstanding. The wine tasting excursion should not be missed. This was our second stay at the Wine Country Inn and we have no intention of staying anywhere else when we return to the napa valley.

We stayed at the Wine Country Inn last weekend. They are wonderful hosts. Each and every person who works there makes sure that you are happy. Ryan, the cook, makes a fantastic breakfast, and you can even get the recipes. They also have a shuttle to the restaurants so you do not need to drive. This is a wonderful inn in the wine country.

I loved our two days at the Wine Country Inn. We stayed in room 12 in the main lodge and had a lovely view of the vineyards below. Best part of the room was the window seat, which was a great spot to read and relax. The pool and hot tub area was inviting, and we used it both nights. Loved the breakfasts - especially the granola - as well as evening appetizers and wine tasting. Printing the recipes for guests was a nice touch; I am eager to try my hand at the artichoke green pepper quiche. The atmosphere was casual and the staff was welcoming without trying "too hard" to please.

We really enjoyed our stay here, it is a wonderful place with lots of character and charm in such a gorgeous setting.

We particularly enjoyed the afternoon wine socials and great local restaurants. I would definitely recommend it!

We have stayed at Wine Country Inn about 5 times over the last 19 years. So obviously we like it!Over the years the grounds have gotten more lovely and if you are lucky enough to get a room with a view or even better a balcony, you will have a wonderful vantage point. The rooms are highly variable in size and furnishings and bathroom appointments, degree of light, and views......so read the website room descriptions because they are accurate. The breakfasts are ample with numerous selections, and the late afternoon wine-and-cheese offers more substantial food than most of these now-common B&B events. The staff is wonderfully helpful, if they can find a solution for whatever is your porblem, they will. There is no TV at all on the premises so just be aware of that if it's important to you. The location is excellent if you want to travel to wineries but avoid heavy traffic, the lower end of Napa valley gets a lot more "day trippers" from San Francisco who don't get this far north.

Room Tip: The rooms vary widely in size and appointments and location, and are priced accordingly. But the B&am...

This was a great trip. Wife and I spent three nights here in the middle of May.You may consider the room perhaps a little outdated when one considers the price, but that is debatable. We thought they were just fine. What we enjoyed was 1) the location, in the northern end of Napa where the valley is quite narrow and hilly 2) the view over vineyards in all directions 3) the nice pool 4)the hot tub with our room 5) the evening wine tastings 6) the great breakfast, 7) the very nice management and 8) and most importatnly the evening shuttle into St Helena for dinner, allowing us to drink and to not hassle with parking.

We participated in and highly recommend the Inn Cursion. We ended up wiht two other couples and thoroughly enjoyed their company.

When we go back to Napa, we will stay here again.
