Our first trip to Napa. was looking for a place centrally, not a chain. also, was focused on transportation options. being able to visit wineries and restaurants without easily without having to get behind the wheel was important. It met our all expectations on those fronts plus more.

Breakfasts included with the room were delicious.

Rooms were cozy. little 70's like with the shag carpet, but overall clean and simple. No TV, but wireless through out.

re: transportation, they have free shuttle to all the restaurants in St. Helena and a cpl others as well i think. Service was very punctual. We used it on both nights.

They also have a service with brings you to 4-5 wineries. It is the same van used for dinner shuttle, seats 6-7 ppl. Believe it was $230 plus tip for a couple. In my mind, well worth it. Included a nice lunch back at the inn. Also, many of the wineries are smaller ones that the inn knows well. The tasting fees at least a couple were waived. We visited Jessup, Clos Du Val, Madrigal and Beneserre. Clos du Val was the only disappointment, beautiful grounds, but felt too corporate and rushed. Other three were boutique wineries, very intimate tasting experience. Tracy was our driver. She was wery welcoming, great pace to the day.

Also, at end of day, they have a service where they can ship all your wine back. Obv for a fee, but very convenient just handing it over to the front desk.

We would definitely go back.

We were very fortunate to spend our 25th anniversary at a truly classic Inn - the Wine Country Inn. Tim and the staff went out of there way to ensure our stay and travels through Napa Valley were memorable. Breakfasts were delicious. We were impressed with the extent of the afternoon wine tasting and snacks. The pool and property are beautiful. Top recommendations! The Princes

Larry, it was so nice to meet Tami and yourself. We like to have fun with fun people, and you two were certainly very positive and fun. We're happy that we helped make your anniversary one to remember.

Hope to see you both again soon.

Cheers!

The Wine Country Inn is an all-encompassing wine country experience. This was our second stay. Our first visit was in the spring and it was chilly and rainy - but we still had an enjoyable time. On this visit, during the summer, we were able to take more full advantage of this gorgeous property. During our afternoon check in (as they do each afternoon), a local winery was conducting a tasting in the common room with hors d'oeuvres as well. The rooms are lovely but the property itself makes you feel like you're far from everything, beautiful grounds and pool area. On this trip we were able to take advantage of both of the pool and hot tub - very relaxing experience. The hotel also offers a service to drive you to one of several St. Helena area restaurants and pick you up, saving you from having to drive while you imbibe. Breakfast was pretty amazing and very filling, very pleasant staff. It's a bit pricy but really nice for a special occasion.

Spend several days of our Honeymoon at the Wine Country Inn. Absolutely everything we had hoped it would be...and more. The surroundings are lovely, the room quaint, and the breakfast was delicious.

We left so happy and eager to return again!
