Owner description: V. Sattui Winery is a family-owned property located in the heart of Napa Valley, which was founded in 1885 and makes more than 60 different wines with dozens of 90+ point rated wines among its current vintages. It is a stunning, must-see Napa Valley destination for picnics, weddings and events, offering an impressively robust Cheese Shop with more than 200 selections, an excellent Deli directed by Chef Gerardo Sainato, and a Salumeria directed by Stefano Masanti. The sprawling estate includes two-dozen picnic tables nestled beneath ancient Valley Oak trees and tri-level terraces that overlook beautifully manicured gardens and vineyards.

“Our favourite spot in Napa!”
Reviewed 17 August 2014

Oh, where to start! The grounds, wines, and deli are mind-blowingly gorgeous, delicious, and scrumptious (respectively)!

This winery was our last stop in Napa and we're so pleased we didn't miss it! We started with the wine tasting and Monica, our lovely host, proceeded to charm us with both her wit and knowledge. She had us chuckling the whole way through and didn't put any pressure on us to purchase what so ever.

As for the tasting, I would recommend the moscato frizzante -- delicious!

After sampling six different wines for the very reasonably $15 per person, we drifted over to the deli to grab some lunch. A fantastic selection of cheeses, deli meats, and crackers. We even picked up a handy picnic set for .95c! (Plates, cutlery, napkins, and wet wipes). We enjoyed our food (and wine) out in their well-kept picnic areas.

This was our first visit to Napa and I would definitely recommend first time visitors to stop by this winery -- especially if you are looking for lunch or just something to nibble!

“Fun place for tastings and lunch”
Reviewed 14 August 2014

One of my favorite wineries in Napa Valley. I love, love, love their moscato.

Besides a fun place to stop for wine tastings (well priced and good selection), they have excellent food for purchase and picnic tables to eat at. The good is very good and ever changing with what they have to offer.

They have a very cute gift shop with wine items, t-shirts, magnets, all sorts of fun things. A great stop on a day of wine tasting

recommend for those that enjoy sweet wines, not always easy to find in Napa.

“We Stopped And Had Lunch.”
Reviewed 13 August 2014

My wife and I stopped and had BBQ while visiting the Napa Valley. I had brisket and my wife had a large Portobello mushroom. A great outdoor setting for lunch. The Winery had a very good deli and a good sized/well stocked shop with wine and wine related items.

“Kitschy winery”
Reviewed 13 August 2014

Yeah, it reminded me of Summerhill Pyramid Winery, eh. So campy. Which is fun. It's more about being touristy and making money than the love of wine. Mediocre wines.
