It's a twisting drive up Spring Mountain Rd., then a harrowing route to the tasting room, but it's well worth it. Loved the chard & the syrah. Great tasting room that they are in the process of remodeling to take advantage of the view.

Definitely out of the way. Recommended to our group by a real connoisseur. If drinking, get a driver! Road up is windy and narrow. While up this road, go to top and visit Pride Mountain as well! Keenan wines are quite good and both couples on this trip joined their wine club! Looking forward to their arrival in November!

Highly recommend Robert Keenan Winery. It is nice to find a family winery in Napa that is thrilled to have you visit. The daughter Maddie was a great host and we were offered a couple of cheese plates to enjoy as we tasted five different wines.

My favorite was the Mailbox Merlot - which has a nice backstory - and demonstrates well what the Spring Mountain area can do for a Merlot.

I have been going to Keenan for 5+ years, after being told to visit it by someone at Pride Mountain Winery, another of my favorites. Michael Keenan makes world-class wines that are affordable. Go visit Laura in the tasting room, if you can find it ( it's up on Spring Mountain Road, near Pride). The merlot, cabernet franc (which sells out quickly) and Cabernet Sauvignon are delicious. Join the wine club so you can come to the annual summer party, which is the best in the valley.

Bare bones rustic tasting room. Host was pleasant and accommodating. Wines were good to very good. Overall experience OK, but would recommend proceeding to the top of Spring Mountain to Pride Mtn Vineyards.
