We love Keenan wines and are members of their wine society. We had our first visit with them yesterday and loved it thanks to Amy! She was so hospitable and fantastic to do a tasting with. She is only their on Sundays and Mondays so ask for her when you book!

Nice staff. Very cold in the tasting room. There was clutter and boxes everywhere. Felt rushed to leave...which was okay due to the fact that the winery was nothing special. Found that all the wines were average to sub par, the only wine worthwhile was the Mernet. Overall the wine was priced too high for the quality and the winery lacked charm. Schweiger Vineyards was much better. Will not be returning, nor would I recommend them.

Hi NaSoMaCA,

Your experience was the antithesis of what we would want, and--I dare say--of the norm! I am afraid you caught us while moving to a temporary location, as we remodel. (Just wait 'til you see the new tasting room! It's going to be awesome.) I hope you can understand that we wanted to keep the winery open, in order to stay connected with our fans during this process...so we hope you'll forgive us for the inconvenience. We all know how context can affect a tasting. So we're sorry to hear yours wasn't everything it should have been. We are now in our temporary location, a charming cottage on our lower vineyard. Let us know next time you come back, and we'll take you for a special barrel tasting to make it up to you. Our goal is to show every visitor a fantastic time and give each an opportunity to fully appreciate our delicious wines. We love ya and want you to love us too.

We first visited this winery a few years ago with Eclectic Tours. It instantly became one of my favourite vineyards in the world. It is an absolutely stunning location up on Spring mountain with the vineyards hugging the mountain. I really like that it is by appointment only as it makes for a far more relaxed and personal experience. Laura is an absolutely superb hostess one of the best in napa and Sonoma. The wines are superb the mail box being one of my favourites that will cross the border back to BC with me in my depressingly small allocation.

It's a twisting drive up Spring Mountain Rd., then a harrowing route to the tasting room, but it's well worth it. Loved the chard & the syrah. Great tasting room that they are in the process of remodeling to take advantage of the view.
