My online search for food and wine pairings brought me to Newton. Then, coincidentally, we got an invitation from a local wine merchant to a tasting featuring Newton. Both the beautiful brochure and the unfiltered Chardonnay caught our attention so I booked the appointment. Everything was fantastic, from the views, the gardens, the food and the wine to Aaron, our very accommodating host, who patiently took photos for everyone. The property is just gorgeous. We could barely tear ourselves away to get to our next appointment. We will most definitely return.

There are few wineries in the Napa Valley more beautiful than Newton! They have terraced gardens, incredible mountain views and one of the best unfiltered wines around! We thoroughly enjoyed our tour and tasting experience and Aaron's storytelling not only entertained us, but educated us about the history of the valley and the wine process in general. Tours are by appointment only so this place is not over run with tourists and tipsy folk. It is so worth your time, you will not regret it!

This lovely property with great views was founded by the same people who created Sterling. It's wonderful quality wine, gorgeous location, and very nice pairings with appetizers provided by the restaurant at Domaine Chandon. While no longer in family hands, it's a personal experience and couldn't be nicer. Well worth the cost.

An exceptional vineyard and amazing story of their history. After a tour of the facility and their winemaking process, we were ushered into a room with pairings and several wines for tasting. It was an education as well as pure joy. To close the tasting, we even had a glass of 1981 to end the trip. It was exceptional. We joined their wine club and should be receiving our first shipment in a month or so.

We went to Newton Vineyard for their wine pairing. We received a very gracious welcome, and informative tour of a beautiful location, and a great pairing experience. We enjoy the wineries that offer pairings so we can see how the wines could pair with food and because the chefs at the wineries tend to be great. At Newton the $40 we spent on the pairing meal was worth it and gave us ideas of recipes we could create at home. Newton's unfiltered wines are delicious and I would recommend this experience to anyone. I would not, however, recommend joining the wine club. After the meal we got the sales pitch on the club and the benefits of joining while we were there. We bit. I got our first club shipment today and realized that, with the club discount, I was still paying more than it would cost me to buy the wine at our local merchant. What really did it, though, was the cellar wine they sent, a 2002 unfiltered cab, for which we were charged $110. Look it up on line and you'll see you can get it for under $50. The winery was just sold and went corporate. I think greed is taking over. Too bad.
