This was a cute little place, the food was fresh and delicious!! The wait staff was very knowledgeable about the food and wine on the menu.

Thank Espma

This is consistently one of my favorite restaurants in the Napa Valley. the quality of ingredients and execution is top notch.

Went here for brunch in April 2014 after doing some shopping in lovely St. Helena. We were advised to check this place out and I was interested in trying the northern Italian cuisine. Despite the fact that we showed up at 1:30pm the vast majority of the items on the standard menu were unavailable. The atmosphere is dark and uninviting with a tiny kitchen that is somewhat visible. I had a caesar salad and mozzarella cheese as an appetizer. My wife had a blt with fries. Our server was nice but both unhelpful and uninterested. My salad and cheese were standard. My wife's fries were straight from McDonald's but sprinkled with parsley for that authentic local 'napa' look. The bacon on the blt was fried so crispy that I cut my gum chewing it. From the time we
Placed our order our server never returned once. We waited for our bill for a while as the staff stood chatting with the kitchen staff (and the place was not busy at the time). Overall, a rather unpleasant experience. Do yourself a favor and skip this place and head straight to Cindy's backstreet for a much better meal and atmosphere.

four of us went for dinner - two had ok fish dish, one had pasta which they said was tasteless, I need gluten free and had sea food risotto - it had minimal seafood, was wet and had an unpleasant taste and texture - flour free chocolate cake was good

overpriced, horribly noisy like a bar - they need to put in some sound absorption material - although we live part of the year here - definitely will not be going back

When we travel we always like to find the spots the locals would go too if they had a choice. This is one of those spots that was recommended by several locals. We did have a reservation and I would highly recommend you get one as Cook is a small spot. The vibe is wonderful, service great, and food outstanding. We shared a salad to start that was crisp and yummy. We both got a different kind of pasta and it was outstanding. Loved walking around St Helen after dinner. I would go again if I was in the area.
