While taking a hot air baloon ride, we had gotten off course and landed in this vinyard on this part of Napa. Well, the owners could not have been more surprsed and not more hospitable and gracious--they went out of their way and quickly made us coffee and breakfast offerings when they did not expect us..there were app 15 people who landed on their ranch and we all tasted their wines (at 9am) and the staff went ouf their way to be helpful to all of us at such short notice--the place is beautiful and I would highly recommend this place to stay based on the short time I spent there and the hospitality displayed to all these "unexpected guests"!!

We have stayed at Rustridge two times for 3-4 days on each of our get a ways.

We fell in love with the property on our first visit in April 2005 and were greeted by the foals that had just been born.

The list of what we love about Rustridge is long:
The breakfasts, the fact that guests can use the kitchen to cook! The wine/ cheese time in the afternoon, the winery, the horses, the dogs, cats, birds and other wildlife on the property.

Rustridge is the hidden gem of the Napa Valley (Chiles Valley) area. It is out of the touristy area, but close to many fine establishments.

Jim and Susan are the perfect hosts and will help make your visit with them very special.

We loved this peaceful, yet fun filled Bed and Breakfast. It is nestled in Pope valley on a lovely winery and horse ranch. Friendly dogs greeted us, as well as the wonderful owners. Children and adults alike enjoyed the swimming, tennis, hiking, and just walking around the beautiful surroundings. It was a very enjoyable place to stay. The breakfast was heavenly every morning too. We felt very comfortable there, as if it were our home.

Susan and Jim are great and treat everyone like family. It was crushing for the whites and they invited us to help if we wanted to and of course we did, it was a fantastic experience. No reception so my wife loved it because it keep me off my blackberry. The wines are very good and it was fun comparing what they had versus our days tasting. We bhave since joined their wine club and hope to get back in october for the reds.

We stayed at the Rustridge Ranch this December and really enjoyed our stay. We brought our two dogs and stayed in the "dog friendly" cottage which across the streed from the B&B. Overall, we loved the property. They have about 400 acres of land and the B&B has tennis courts, a pool and a wine tasting area with picnic tables and such.

The owners, Susan and Jim, are very laid back and the breakfasts were huge and delicious.

We'd recommend this B&B for anyone who wants to get out of the circus of Napa. It is a great way to get away from it all and feel like you are vacationing at a true ranch. We arranged for a towncar to pick us up at the Rustridge and take us on a 4 hour tour of the wineries.

The only thing we'd say is that it might not be for everyone. The charm of the Rustridge is that it is laid back and rustic so don't go there and expect the Ritz. It looks like you have to share a bathroom in the B&B (not in the cottage) and there appear to be only queen size beds. But everything is clean and comfortable.

If you're looking for a way to escape to the country and be close enough to enjoy the wineries. This is the place for you.

My wife and I have stayed here three times and we intend to keep coming back. It is a clean, somewhat rustic B&B with great breakfasts and a very pleasant and quiet atmosphere. It is off the beaten path yet still close enough to all the wineries in the Napa Valley. The owners--Susan and Jim--are friendly and provide great service.

The rooms are comfortable. If you want a large room--ask for the Rustridge room. All the other rooms are more modest in size (but still quite adequate for a weekend). I believe they also have a free-standing cottage across the road for rent (but we haven't rented it ourselves).

This B&B is on a beautiful Chiles Valley ranch. It's quiet and serene. It is also a winery, so they provide later afternoon wines and snacks. Their wines are quite good as well. They have horses and a couple of beautiful dogs on the property.

We highly recommend this B&B.

Just got back from one of the coolest B&B experiences ever! Rustridge
Ranch and Winery was so much fun. The owners, Susan and Jim are wonderful, and took great care of us. Our room, the Chiles Valley room, was comfy and clean. We were treated to the most delicious breakfast every morning, and wine tasting and snacks in the evening. The property is amazing, very tucked away and off the beaten path. You feel like you're on a farm with the beautiful thoroughbred horses, friendly dogs and cats, and a winery with tasting room. Rustridge is perfect for gathering your family and friends for a retreat or reunion. We will absolutely go back...hopefully soon.
