My friend originally wanted to have lunch at a Chinese restaurant. I researched until I found one I thought would be good to take her to. She has had some hardships in the past few years and we don't see each other that often because of distance. I picked her up and we found the restaurant. I had to go past it and make a U-turn to come back. We passed Black Angus and both noticed. Then she told me that she'd rather eat there. She has problems walking because of an accident, but I found parking close to the door. When we were seated, our waitress brought drinks right away and our order was taken. It was very pleasant to be able to talk and enjoy our lunch. We both had grilled chicken, hers was teriyaki, mine was seasoned, a nice house salad and garlic mashed potatoes. It was all so good. The waitress kept our glasses filled. We did not have dessert, but that was because we couldn't eat anymore. The dessert menu looks delicious. It was nice to have a pleasant experience at the end of a hectic week.
