I enjoy this place very much. It has a poor public parking area though, and VIP is not that much better. You also have to watch you lawn chairs when you get lawn tickets. Some lawn chairs were allowed while other were not of similar shape & SIZE.

This is a great venue to go to if you get the chance. The sound is amazing there. When your in the pit you not stuck in the hot sun it is shaded.

I'll start off saying that the sound at the main stage is pretty good. The event we attended also had a smaller second stage and the sound there was utterly horrible due to them forcing the bands to play directly into the wind. Now onto other issues.

Communication: Everywhere online had posted before the show that the gates opened at 1:00 and the show started at 2:05. Well we waited in line in the hot sun until 1:00, they let about a dozen people in, and then force everyone back because now they decided to not open the gates until 2:00! Someone near us even passed out from the heat at this point, and they still made us wait. There was barely anytime to get inside before the music started. They also do a poor job of telling you what you need to get. We were in the pit and assumed our pit tickets were all we needed to get down there. However, when we start heading down, we are told that we need wristbands. After asking three(!) different employees where to get wristbands, we were finally able to get to the concert.

Prices: I've never seen a more overpriced venue than this. $4.50 for bottled water? $6.00 for crappy nachos? $12 for a beer?! Give me a break!

Parking: Literally the worst parking situation I've ever seen. All the employees simply stood around while normal concert-goers took matters into their own hands and started directing traffic. You know there's a problem when people who paid to use your location have to provide basic services for themselves. It took us over 2 hours to get out of the parking lot.

Basically, the actual musical sound here is okay, but the venue is awful. If you can avoid going here, do it.

We went to the Art Laboe oldie and new school concert. It was awesome. There is lots of parking and lots of seats. The staff is super helpful and they kept everything under control. Definitely will add this place for concerts. I did not realize its been there for 13 years.

No communications: There is no website to determine what you can and can't bring into the facility, what time the place opens, where to park etc. The people answering question for the site need to have scripted responses, because each time we called we got different responses. Your best bet is to contact someone you know that has been here and ask them.
Parking: Dirt lot. If you dress nice for the concert, plan on getting dirty on the walk in to the stadium.
General admission tickets: This venue holds about 65K and about 40K tickets are general admission lawn seats. We knew going in that our general admission seats were going to be on a grass hill. What we didn't know is that the stage is so far away, you can't recognize who's on stage. We sat through the first act and thought we were listing to prerecord filler music. The sound might be OK close to the stage for those few that are seat holders, but for the GA folks the speakers are so far away that the sound is terrible. The same goes for the mega screens mounted next to the stage, or should I say micro screens. Since you can't distinguish who's on stage, you should be able to at least see who's on the screen. They need to take a note from the promoters at StageCoach and Cochella and mount large mega screens and speakers out in the crowd so that everyone can see and her whats going on.
Restrooms: I can't complain to much about the restrooms other then to say bring a roll of TP if you plan on tailgating in the parking lot. There were many outhouses in the parking area but all were out of toilet paper.
