Great nostalgia. Rooms were clean, pool was clean, property was clean. Free wi-fi and great cell reception. Our family stayed here one night while on a road trip and the experience was great. Yes, it's in a run-down part of town, but hey, it's San Bernardino for crying out loud. We will definitely be back. Thanks for the kicks on Route 66!

We checked in late after driving in Friday night LA traffic to get thete but it was no problem for the owner. He gave us directions for a good Supper that night.

A clean and comfortable stay on a very comfortable bed. After some photos of the complex in the morning the family were really helpful with a scenic route through Joshua Tree National Park to our next destination in San Diego. We were very grateful. Great price for a great room and a novel experience and slice of Route 66 history. Highly recommended. Thanks Guys.

Doing Route 66 this motel was a must stay at and we weren't disappointed. The wigwams were clean and well appointed, all be it small. The owner, Kumar, was a fab host, providing S'mores by the campfire and ended the night with fireworks. Loved it!

Room Tip: Try rooms behind the pool as the ones near the road were quite noisy.

I don't understand all these rave reviews. These postings are very misleading. Yes, the cute factor is there, but... The neighborhood is super SKETCHY, as in potentially not safe.
Take your photos, then drive on to Claremont - or somewhere else farther west. Seriously. The motel is surrounded by junk yards, gravel pits, crummy liquor stores, and scary people lurking around. There is nothing around here to do or see, except a Walgreen's several blocks away.

We are sorry your credit card was declined upon check in & your frustration with your personal finances & well being. Wal-green is .1 mile from the motel or 1/4 of a physical block or 2 min's. Customer was frustrated with personal issues. On lighter note, customer had staff take a photo of him & raved how clean an fun the place was an how much he enjoyed the poolside late into the evening.

My wife and I recently stayed here for something different as we were heading to Las Vegas the next day after flying in from Australia. It was great. Hey if you're looking for something different and a bit of old charm, this is worth the stop off. It's not the sort of place you would stay for any length of time, but for a stop over - BRILLIANT. The owners are so friendly and helpful, and despite the area being a bit industrial, the locals we found were similarly more than helpful to give you advice on where to eat and where to go. If you're looking for a 5 star hotel style room, don't bother - you're in a Wig Wam... But if you want a comfy bed for a night with a bit of unusual charm, worth the stop for sure. The bed was probably one of the best I've slept in for years, the room was clean, had a fridge for a couple of cool beers and a lounge and you didn't have neighbours banging next door. The bathroom was starting to show its age, but remember, it was built 50 years ago, and really how long do you spend in a bathroom, in the big scheme of things.

We were a bit worried about the noise that might come from the busy road nearby, but these Wig Wam's must be made from depleted armour piercing uranium because once you close the door it was quiet and we slept great.

Overall, this place is a great stopping point when you're on your way through to Las Vegas from LAX, and I would highly recommend a night there and experience a part of the real America instead of the boring standard motels that are served up near the airports or tourist spots.

Room Tip: We were in a Wig Wam right next to the road, and we didn't have an issue. Any one you are given...

We arrived after dark (after 11pm) and the surrounding neighborhood is a little sketchy, but not too bad. This was one of my favorite hotels on our southwest US roadtrip and it was one of the requirements that I insisted on doing to add a funky roadtrip nostalgia/Americana aspect to our trip.

The interior of the wig wam is big and roomy and I was fascinated by how they are constructed and laid out. They are super solid and feel like solid concrete, so you don't hear anything from the outside.

You park right next to the wig wam and it makes it super easy to unload/pack up. When you stay in a lot of hotels, like we did on this trip, the unpack/loadup routine gets to be a drag. At the wig wam hotel, it's easy in and easy out. The room was clean, beds comfortable, complete with a flat screen and fridge. My kids loved it and so did my wife and I.

Room Tip: Try to get a wig wam that isn't next to the main road. There are a couple that are right next to...

We arrived here early for check in, and even though we disturbed the awesome Kumar,s lunch, we were greeted like old friends. On went the route 66 song while checking us in . he filled our heads with more information than we could handle, checked out our itinerary which he seemed impressed with then told us where to find wigwam #17. This was in the back of the resort and looked small on the outside but was like a tardis on the inside. The giant bed was the most comfortable ever, there was a 25" TV with loads of stations, the free WiFi was super fast and finally although the temp outside was around 100° our wigwam was like the north pole inside. The pool area was clean and well maintained . As we checked out the next morning we were offered coffee and cereal bars for the road. Everyone should stay at least once in their lifetime here.

Room Tip: Wigwam #17 is perfect for a quiet nights sleep
