Stayed here for four nights, our office is very nearby so location is good for that, less good for visiting SF by public transport. Breakfast buffet offers a good selection of choices and never seems to be too crowded. Rates seem high to me.

As a gold member in the Marriott Rewards program I stay at lots of the different Marriott properties. This particular Fairfield Inn is in the mediocre range. The rooms are fine -- they are clean, the beds are comfortable, and so on. But the location has nothing to recommend it. It practically shares a parking lot with a Burger King, which could be helpful if you want something more than a microwaved Jimmy Dean sandwich for breakfast. There is a steak and chop house next door as well, though that gets middling reviews.

My biggest complaint is the internet service. When it works, the bandwidth and latency seem OK. But, despite the access codes being good for (supposedly) 24 hours, I get disconnected frequently. The hotel has just 11 wired internet rooms out of the three floors, so getting a solid connection is far from a sure thing.

Overall this is a slightly below average Fairfield Inn because both the breakfast and internet are subpar for this chain. But, it still gives you what you expect from this brand -- a clean, comfortable room for a good price.

Room Tip: If you care about internet service, ask for one of the 11 rooms that has a hard wired connection.

Rooms are decent and beds are comfy. Breakfast is a waste. Management is really poor. Location is desolate. Worth staying here if you can get a good rate. Otherwise, stay elsewhere - there are a lot of hotels to choose from in the area.

We staid for two nights, two rooms. The suites are very big and perfect for traveling with kids, the double queens are not that big. Great breakfast, close to both SF and SJ, I would stay here again.

Room Tip: Stay in a suite.

This is the third year in a row staying at this hotel for our annual Nor Cal Familly road trip. While this is not a Four Seasons......it is perfect for families looking for a convenient, clean and friendly place to stay. Perfectly situated between San Jose and San Francisco - it is easy to get to anywhere in the Bay Area. They are constantly making nice little upgrades including room, hallways and lobby. The kids love the cookies in the evenings and of course....the free breakfast in the morning. The kids love making their own waffles .....but you can get quick and healty options to start your day. Free parking, easy access and quiet.

Stopped here on our drive to Disneyland. Since we drove through San Francisco we were on the 101 - very convenient location.
Front staff was friendly. Our room was right around the corner and we didn't hear any noise or disruptions from the entry area.
Clean and nicely decorated. Complimentary breakfast was great before we hit the road again.

Driving to the hotel felt like we were going back in time of what may had been an exciting air station. The hotel itself was very clean and the rooms were your standard. It took the front desk clerk 45 minutes to locate the keys to open the pool area and although it was cool out that day, the pool was nice and clean. Breakfast was your normal boxed waffle mix and fruit cups. The view from the rooms left much to desire.
I give this establishment a strong C+.
