“Best museum on the Peninsula”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 27 August 2014 via mobile

Even if you are not into planes, this museum is still really interesting to understand the history of flight and much with a Bay Area emphasis. We go often for their events and lectures. It is great for small kids, teens and also adults on their own. Their camp programs are great too. Now, every Wed they host food trucks out front so you can have a great lunch and them wander the exhibits. Hidden gem!

“If you like aviation, this is an awesome museum”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 18 July 2014

Good exhibits, some hands-on stuff, lots of aviation history. Engines, photos, planes, oh my! My husband, a friend and I went and would recommend it for anyone who's even peripherally interested in aviation. Nice for both kids and adults.

Fun stop for aviation enthusiasts. If you have a couple of young kids who can't get enough of "things that go," it's a great spot for a visit. Fun gift shop.

“Great museum for a family outing”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 22 June 2014

Hiller Aviation Museum is a wonderful, interactive museum that offers exhibits and displays that will appeal to all ages. We spent hours here and learned so much about aviation. Parents and children both enjoyed the simulators and found the helicopters and airplane displays fun and interesting. The old posters from TWA, UNITED and PAN AM were beautifully preserved. Lots of memorabilia throughout the museum! The gift shop was very well-stocked with a wonderful selection of books, games and clothing for young aviators. The staff, especially Mr. White, was friendly and attentive to guests. Since there is no cafe on-site would suggest dining at the San Carlos Airport restaurant. We enjoyed a very good breakfast there.

“Lots to See and Reminisce Over”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 28 May 2014

Enjoyed this museum very much. Lots of different aircraft to look at, some hands on and walk through made it even better! Fun gift shop with items those aviation related items, both of historical interest and fun toys that can't be found at the nearby mall. Wonderful staff, many who got to experience the earlier days of flying. My father worked and Pan Am in the 50's and it was fun to see all the paraphernalia from the different airlines over the decades. Things sure have changed! Terrific local attraction
