“Hands on activities”

I have been to the Tech Museum several times with grandchildren. The last time was to visit the Star Wars exhibit. Wonderful hands on and information displays were great. Have been to other special exhibits in the past that were also very well done. The movies in their 3D are spectacular. My grandchildren always enjoy themselves.

“Good Attraction for Kids, Especially Pre-Teens”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 25 November 2013

Good place to take the kids for an afternoon and lots of activities and things to see and do, will usually find yourself and other adults participating in many of the activities as well, overall was worth the time and the kids had a good time. Would mostly suggest for children under about 15 as they will find it more interesting that older kids, suspect the ideal ages would be from about 8 to 13.

“A pleasant surprise”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 25 November 2013

I visited the Tech with a group from work and wasn't expecting to enjoy it. I ended up enjoying it. The clump of silicon was a treat. I don't know what I thought it would look like, but that wasn't it! This would be of interest to teens and older, especially those who use technology daily (and who doesn't?)

“Great place for kids and kids at heart”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 25 November 2013

The Tech Museum of Innovation is a wonderful, fun and interesting place to spend several hours with or without children. That said, children are challenged to use their imaginations at stations throughout the facility. They can create, imagine and learn while having fun.

There are exhibits that explain how energy is created, ones that explain how we can save water and use it more wisely, scientific challenges and hands-on learning opportunities. Volunteers are stationed throughout the Tech to help youngsters and those of us a bit older understand the exhibit and answer questions.

In addition, there is a large IMAX theater (costs extra for this), a cafe and very good gift shop.
