I recently took my Mother for a late-evening dinner at Pasta Pomodoro on San Felipe in San Jose. The pasta was perfectly prepared (al dente), and the special ravioli was delicious. Not fancy, but also not expensive, this is the kind of restaurant I would put in the "reliable" category. Service was attentive and accurate. Small-but-sufficient wine-by-the-glass list for that one-glass meal. Visible kitchen provided some entertainment as the skilled chefs had flying fry-pans moving all the time.
I will go back.
