Try the antipasto tray as well! The pizza was fresh and light, the crust was very flavorful. We tried the margerita one.

There are few places per town where you can find the real pizza in the US and Pizza Bocca Lupo is definitely one of them. I lived 25 years at 25 miles from Naples (I was born there) and I know how a real pizza looks like and taste and the Pizza Bocca Lupo is exactly how it has to be. Thin and not crusty: yes the for a pizza to be crusty it should be a shame. If you want a real Neapolitan pizza but can't go to Naples, this is the place where you can find it. Well done to the owner.
The only negative note is that it was very difficult to find it as it is on the back of a Public Market where there are several other restaurants.

Yogi Berra once commented about a restaurant that "Nobody goes there any more. It's too crowded." Pizza Bocca Lupo makes excellent pizza in a wood fired oven from Naples. The pizza cooks in an amazing 90 seconds; but if you go there when it's crowded, it takes forever to get it, because they can only fit two pizzas at a time in the oven.

You walk up, order, and get a buzzer that notifies you when you can pick up your pizza. At crowded times of the day or night, you may have to wander a bit in The San Pedro Square Market, where it and over a dozen other food stalls are located, to find a place to sit. There is also a lot of outside seating. Most Friday nights they have live music just around the corner in the building; most performances free.

Just a couple of wine offerings, routinely poor, which is a big disappointment. Pizza tasty, but also can be inconsistent, depending upon who's working that day and how busy they are; prices fair; toppings just a few to choose from, but all good.

A better, more consistent wood fired pizza can be found at Il Fornaio (yup, a chain does it better, always) about 3/4 of a mile away in the Ste. Claire Hotel, where it's more quiet, and there's table service, and a real wine list.

If you loved the pizza in Italy and are jonesing for a fix, this is the place you're looking for. The thin crust, fresh tomato sauce and fresh cheese, nice choice of toppings, and the imported oven from Napoli produce the closest pizza I've found on this side of the world. The staff is sharp and eager to please.

I was lucky enough to stumble upon this place 1 week after returning from a vacation in Italy. After eating the pizza in Italy I wasn't sure I'd be able to eat American pizza -- I'm so glad to have Pizza Bocca Lupo in my town!
