This ornate theatre opened to show films in 1927, and did so until the 1970s, when it was shut down. It sat dilapidated for years, before a renovation in 2004. Now it is the home of the San Jose Opera and the Silicon Valley Symphony, and is a wonderful place to see a show. The seats are comfortable, the building is stylish and the acoustic are great.
