A great evening night out restaurant in downtown San Jose. The wait staff are helpful, attentive, but not hovering. The table service begins with bread and marinated olives. They have a good selection of wines and cocktails available. I like their wine flights which are a nice way to sample differing styles of similar wines. Do start with an appetizer. Their lobster/shrimp croquettes are recommended ad well as their cheese flambé (don't recall the name). The cheese dish is served topped with onions that are caramelized by pouring a Greek brandy flambé over the cheese. Not to be missed! My favorite entree is the lamb shank. It's melt in your mouth delicious! Their lamb chops are also excellent, The staff is attentive to diet or gluten free requirements also. My preferred dessert is their Greek beignets which are light honey covered fried dough with chocolate sauce. Nom! This is one of the nicest addictions to downtown (not Santana Row). You''ll enjoy your experience!
