Although Fiano's lies in the heart of San Juan's Historic District around the Mission, it still provides a relaxing breather from the lengthy but fascinating tour of nearby Capistrano Mission. We were welcomed to our window seats and enjoyed tasty beverages and tender calamari tidbit appetizers. All our entree sandwiches were huge and loaded with quality ingredients such as real oven-roasted turkey (not deli slices). The sweet potato fries were some of the best ever tasted. We finished off with frosty spumoni served in an elegant blue sea glass with a sculptured stem.
Prices here were very reasonable for what you received. The waitress was brisk and capable yet not hasty, making no mistakes in our order or its service. Linen napkins, real china and very clean, well-appointed rest rooms made Fiano's a classy venue for both dining and people watching along Camino Capistrano. Bottom line: Fiano's quality food, ambience and convenience to the Mission and to shopping will make dining there a highlight of your trip to San Juan.
